Kahi revealed a text message she received from her manager.

She posted screenshots of the messages onto her SNS account, writing, "Today, I had a dinner to celebrate the end of my promotions. No one came from my label, so I told my manager.."off her hard ab

The texts from her manager said, "I think it's the manager's job to manage the points of both the label and the artist well from the middle. But as I told you a little before, all the managers, like any other day, are working today. I don't know about the chairpersons or the other executive members because I'm not that high up yet, but I'm sure they are also working for our artists as well, just like every other day. Seungsoo did go today, however, because he was able to free up time. You told the choreography team leader, the stylist, and the hairshop staff about the dinner plan and place yesterday and they were there today. We wanted to be there as well, but we had scheduled events and we were not able to meet the details you told us yesterday."

Kahi wrote, "This message really makes me not like them. Seriously..."

The label has yet to respond on any calls about Kahi's post. Many netizens do seem to think that Kahi is overreacting a little and that the manager had a legitimate reason, while some seem to think they should have made time for Kahi.

What do you think, is she overreacting?

I agree with the manager... they can't just drop everything..and she only gave them a days notice, that's not enough time for people to make arrangements, you have to tell people way in advance for that..

this was posted already but lol

kahi .... i would expect more maturity from a 32 year old.

DeJa vu? But she sounds a little bratty... They're busy... Can't she understand that? She's like 30, she should learn how to control her feelings

Are you sure ? Because this was posted on AKP at 8:51..and I legit so no recent topics with that time stamp(or a little later) on it...

Kahi has given years to Pledis.... she basically built Pledis alongside Han Sung Soo... in the sense that, she stuck around as a basically lone artist on a startup company, and then invested in creating a girl group... that became the company's cashcow (solely for awhile, since Dambi's flame was all but extinguished in 15 minutes) and put aside solo aspirations to stay with After School as a central member. You'd think she'd get a bit more respect tbh, without having to grovel for it.

That said, it's a busy industry and to give a days notice..... she shouldn't be surprised that people can't make her dinner a priority.... lol i mean... she's been around long enough to know that you'd think. She isn't overreacting necessarily, she simply implied that the dinner was disappointing and the reply was frustrating. She's definitely a bit, delusional in her expectations however.

I am still shocked they let her have a solo promotion....

is she with Pledis??

Yes, Pledis.  She's been with them pretty much from the beginning (went with the CEO from SM, I guess) but maybe she's bitter that she wound up in a group and Son Dambi got to go solo first and has an acting career.

Wow Kahi, just chill for a sec. If you were your own manager and had to plan, make time for, and straighten out the details of all of YOUR promotions (which by the way are the ones you are celebrating being done with) would you go to a measly "finally now I can get on with my career" party?

I. Think. Not. So stop being a brat. :twitch:
