56 million people die in a year....

People who say they don't care or have no feelings are callous. Every death has significant implications for so many people; it could be a stillborn, newborn, infant, toddler, child, teenager, adult, daughter, son, mother, father, family, friend, partner, etc. one might not have a connection to the loss but to outright say you don't care about the loss of the millions is cruel. New life doesn't mitigate the pain of the loss.

Honestly, I don't really think people doN'T care... many people might feel indifferent because human lives are just presented as numbers here... we don't think of these people as humans with families, friends, personal issues and struggles etc.. pretty sure that it would be different if they weren't giving us numbers, but rather actual humans with personal journeys many reacions would be different (albeit pretty much impossible to when it's 56 million people 0.0')

We don't know these people, so we don't care.

I don't think that they don't care, it's just that... It's sad, it really is. But, do you want to go about life thinking about who died that second? You feeling bad about someone dying in X part in the world isn't going to make the deceased come back to life, nor is it going to alleviate the pain of that person's family. The world is harsh and cruel and unfair but you have to keep doing your best to keep your head held high and keep going. I want to just enjoy life as much as I can and give back as much as I can before I leave. And if I don't know you, I'll give you condolences and move on. I'm not gonna think about it much.

A majority of OH'ers on here don't even give a fuck about that statistic. But whenever a terrorist attack happens, whenever 10,20,30,40,50, or a hundred people die due to terrorist attacks, these OH'ers here start To Give a Major Fuck. Oh no, the tragedy. I can't stand people taking other people's lives.

What about when the Circle of Life takes 56 million dead people? Why don't y'all care about that? Why don't y'all say it's a tragedy?
