yeah i hate it that most of the fansite/fanbase websites closed. it's so hard to find things now. i have actually been looking for this one kang sung hoon korean fansite called hoonman. but i totally can not find it anymore :(

 

ugh tell me about it! Especially pre-sechskies reunion in IC! Almost everything was gone!

 

There was this one time, I ended up browsing the international yahoo group of sechskies fans (that is as old as the group).. and I read this transcript of Jiwon saying pikachu.. and the audio is obviously not available anymore. I let it go then, then I saw another video of jiwon promoting his first ever album in some sort of fanmeet and fans were shouting for him to say pikachu and so my curiosity even got worse!

 

Like I've tried everything and anything I could just to find that precious clip. It took me months of endless search.. I mean how do you even find an audio when all you know about it is that it was jiwon who said it and that it was from jekki fm plus.. Aside from that I got nothing.

 

Eventually.. I finally ended up in this naver blog with all the jekki FM plus goodies.. Turns out, Jiwon was apparently "reading" Pikachu's diary entry.. and it was like some popular meme back then. XD

 

And I even found another audio that matches the transcript I found in the international yahoo group.. That's how I got to make the jyeon-jyong banter in fmplus video.T_T

 

Like whenever I read these old fan conversations... I'm like.. I also wanna watch the video you guys were talking about!!! Most links are dead or whatever..

@Indiiea OMG you found it! Hahaha thanks! LOOOL wayback machine is such a friend.. I use it to look for old winglin fics, but like you said, so many links dont work anymore. :(
 
@hoony_bunny LOL IKR? You'd think the pages you used to visit would always remain there forever so you put yourself at ease.. T_T I wish I had been a fan sooner, I feel like I've missed out on so many goodies. Your lucky you'd known them so much earlier! But thankfully so many fans have returned and are sharing sooo many stuff like before! Out of desperation to learn more about jekki, I learned so many terms hahaha like the shipnames they had in the past (jyeonjyong, jyeonhoon).. Aww thank you so much! Hahaha I have way too many accounts all over the place I barely could keep up in updating them... T_T

wow thanks for finding the article! it's so interesting to read how they got their ideas. Val must have been a diehard jekki fan. I'm surprised that the fanfic actually didn't become a movie/drama. There was popular shinhwa one that did get turned into a drama. I'm thinking it was probably because of the language barrier. maybe if it was translated into korean, it definitely would have been made into a drama ~!

 

omg yes, all the ship names are amazing. thank goodness for all the old fans reappearing again (especially on youtube >.< lol) thanks to them, there are many things too see. even though i've been a long time fan, i learn something new about jekki everyday :D

 

Yeah, it's actually sweet how she didn't want to have any of the names changed so she stuck with her story even if she got a lot of offers.

 

Same here,  I love learning new stuff about sechskies everyday~ and since more fans have arrived we've got so many things to share with each other. T_T

 

I really hope people would get to know more about jekki cos they are so amazing... I admit I'm already very tired of the Chivalry adlib rap joke...

Yassss... I've been watching the Trauma perf. nonstop since it was posted.... everything was much better than the original mv from the looks to choreography... 

 

IKR!!! The choreography is on fire and Jiwon has improved so much compared to when the original Trauma was released, which is the only way to go seeing how much practice he's been getting recently.

... btw, Jiwon is not the best dancer, but for some reason I find his moves are very on point... for example, in yegam chorus, the way he moves is so nice (better than the main dancers, Jaejin & Jaeduck)... Idk if I make sense or not

 

I get what you mean! There are far better dancers than Jiwon, but his charisma is just on a different level and it brings something more to his dance. *but then I could just be really biased about him so there's that......*
