Question to those who watched 'Nice Guy' with Song Joong-ki and Moon Chae-won...

So I have a question regarding Moon Chae-won's character, Seo Eun-ki. I guess only those who watched it will enter this thread, but I will put in the spoiler anyway, just in case:

I'm currently on episode 12, she's already lost her memory and all.

What I loved about her character was that badassery that she had in the first half of the drama, she was rude, sarcastic and mean, but strong at the same time, not your typical drama heroine - but all that faded once she got into that car crash and lost her damn memory, now she's meek, weak and naive, does only what Ma-roo tells her to do etc. etc.

So here's my question, does she ever regain her memory and go back to her old self? This question bugged me since episode 9. I'm going to finish this drama anyway, the cinematography, soundtrack and acting are really stellar, but writing of her character in the last few episodes really annoyed me.

So please answer without additional spoilers or anything, I still want to enjoy the storyline, but at the same time I want to know if she'll get her memory back.

Really? Does her characterization become better later? I liked her so much, but I was so let down...

Let me just put it like this, her badass personality is still quite alive but Maru is the exception to it, and her memory loss just something that brings the arrogance down to the lack of ability

It's part of her characterisation too because as you could see in the earlier episodes (with her ex-bf) her toughness is a facade

I can only say the ending felt incomplete to me...like it was sweet and all but I expected more. I was dumbfounded but you shall watch and find out lol

I felt the same way

I also got into the drama bc of Moon Chae Won's character was so badass

Ah, same here, but that happens to a lot of dramas, and this one is still worth the watch, in my opinion.

Thanks all of you for responses, after finishing episode 12 I realized that this:

.. is really true. The scene with this evil lawyer was what turned my perception about her new self upside down - she's still smart, quick in words and badasss, but in a different way.

Thanks again and I'm off to watch, only 8 episodes to go :rlytearpls:

She's only weak and quiet in a few episode but let me tell you, when she regains her memory, SHE FUCKS SHIT UPPPP. One of the best TV female characters by far.

I love this drama and I've seen it more than once. Some episodes are a bit slow and the ending was a bit dissapointing but the amazing acting, cast and storyline make's it worthwhile, it's especially good for a Korean drama as well

I agree to this ^

It's been a while since I watched it and I feel that there could be even better ending.
