[KPKF] I tried to summarize the rulings of Yonghwa & Jonghyun

Recommended Posts

Everyone has a different interpretation/translations huhuh (I hope i'm fluent in korean)

if somewhat this translation is very accurate... it looks really bad for JYH..

and for Jonghyun, it is not really a big issue since it can be said as an honest mistake since he didn't sell it...(It was still wrong since he bought the stock with the information of YJS signing, so basically he bought the stocks cheaper compared to the one who bought stocks after YJS signed)

I have a question, so if that's the case JYH, this does not removed the fact that there was still a insider trading in JYH's case... Only that her mother made the transaction... (so her mother could have been probably fined also(?) )

so jonghyun didnt sell the stocks?but he is fined?i dont understand all this helppp

He's still considered breaking the law because he got insider information that YJS was gonna sign with his agency. He bought the stocks thinking he could make a quick profit but later learned it's illegal so he didn't go through until the end. He got lucky. If he had indeed sold the stock, then only will he be in a big trouble.

He admitted he bought them knowing they would rise after YJS signing with FNC, so he's guilty of using privledged information.

But he didn't make a profit of it because after buying them, he knew it was illegal so he didn't sell them, so he wasn't entirely guilty, and thus he was fined just 20M instead of the 600M he should have been if he was really guilty

I dont understand. If the stocks were purchased in his name, how can the mom alibi work?

This is what I want to know as well... "Mom excuse" seems too fishy for me. Omg Yonghwa, I believe in you and all you said is this 'mom excuse' lol....

sorry but this makes it more suspicious. fnc is trying to save yonghwa's image by throwing jonghyun under the buss.

yikes

But I actually can imagine that it will backfire. People will sympathize with Jonghyung and not Yonghwa.

The mom excuse is just lame...even if it was his mother who suggested to blame it all on her.

His mom could have purchased the stocks like he said, thats fine but if thats the case shouldnt the stocks she purchased have her name on it? Not really familiar with the stock market (I suck at this so much lmao) so I wonder who really purchased the stocks because if its Yonghwa who bought them (under his name), it makes no sense for the police to believe his mother did.
