Makeup users of OH I need recommendations

I'm tired of using the products I use everyday. My makeup look will probably stay the same but with different products.

Price doesn't really matter but I am trying to be frugal because I'm moving soon so if you could recommend some budget friendly products that'd be great too.

I also prefer a dewy/satin finish for foundation.

hmmm idk about foundation, sometimes I use mac's matchmaster foundation (it's got a sorta satiny finish and I like it, but it just oxidizes too much and goes a tad too yellow for me) but right now I'm using Maybelling matte and poreless (it's actually a great budget buy!).

What sort of products do you prefer to use? Powder or creams?

Also, where are you from lol, because that can also help with choices ^_^

Foundation: Maybelline fit me (It's satin finish)

Concealer: Urban decay Naked Skin

Eyeliner: Kat Von D Tattoo liner or Stila liquid eye liner

Mascara: Maybelline Volume express

Eyeshadow palettes: Pro Lorac Matte palette

Highlighter: Mac "Soft & Gentle"

Liquid lipstick: Girlactik "Divine" & "Demure"

I just mentioned some random products I like...

I love Rimmel and Maybelline's makeup products. Literally all kinds are good quality and affordable, but I don't buy all my makeup essentials from them because I'm more particular about certain products than other. For example, I think things like eye shadow, eyeliner, brow liner, mascara, blush and bronzer can be scrimped, but foundation, highlighter, and lip products should be splurged  :)

omg I'm the same! I think that eyeliner/mascara, blush and bronzer can be bought at really affordable prices, but I like splurging for foundation and lip products (idc for highlighter probably because idk how to use it)

Like wet and wild blushes are SO good, and physicians formula bronzers as well! I like the maybelline eyeliners (both liquid and gel), but sometimes I do splurge and get expensive eyeliners (I actually like Lancome's liquid eyeliner!). Maybelline mascaras are pretty good as well

For lip products, I'm like terrible with them. I have a deep fondness for YSL. and Tom Ford :._.:

edit: And OP! Instead of getting a palette with colors you don't want to use, why not buy a Z palette and go to mac? They just lowered the prices of their individual eyeshadows to $6, so you can just buy the singles and pop them in and make your own palette.

cream blushes, hmm, I would definitely say just color pop, or bourjois makes really nice cream blushes. Bronzers, idk because I don't tend to really use them, and the ones I do use are powders ^_^.

I said before, but I like maybelline eye products (both liquid and gel eyeliners) and mascaras. For eyeshadows, I'd definitely make a palette of my own at mac, but I also bought some Nabla eyeshadows (they're an italian brand) and I LOVE THEM. It was well worth the price, and shipping and everything they're just amazing.

for waterline, I would splurge personally, because it just gets too close to your eyes.

If you want to splurge, and depending on how much you're willing to, I'd say Giorgio armani lasting silk is a GREAT option (I don't like luminous silk that much idk, I prefer lasting) as well as Nars all day luminous. Dior Airflash is also great omg.

(but so are things like Maybelline's fit me range)

also, it's important to have really good tools for your makeup, and I think that's the best investment one can make - good makeup brushes.

I love love love the NARS Matte Velvet Skin Tint (described as a soft matte so its not super matte at all) and the NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer (very glowy) . They add coverage, have spf, and most of all look like skin. The MAKEUP FOREVER Ultra HD one is great too. For concealer I go between my NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer and my Tarte Amazonian Clay Concealer. Both are wonderful. The best highlighter imo is the Josie Maran Illuminating Wand if you have a deep skin tone or you can try the Marc Jacobs one which is pretty universal and made to work on pale and dark skin tones. I really like BareMinerals for powders. Milk Makeup makes some great cream blush/lip cheek things! Primer wise Benefit's Porefessional is amazing. I also really like Evian's Face Mist for a little hydration throughout the day and the Urban Decay All Nighter spray or MAC Fix Plus to set my makeup. Sorry I rambled so much. I just really love makeup  :rlytearpls:

I recently got MAC face and body foundation and now I know why all these makeup artists say it's a holy grail. You absolutely have to put on with fingers though. At first it's this watery substance, but as you work it into the skin, it changes. You can build layers and layers (I don't need to, but I do apply two layers on cheeks because of redness) and no one can tell you have makeup on. It's amazing. Light coverage, no need to powder, makeup that looks dewy but not oily, and definitely like skin. I definitely recommend it if you like the natural look.

Another thing I love two mac eyeshadows that I think match everyone: satin taupe (amazing colour) and woodwinked.

And my favourite lipsticks are also from mac. I think any girl that respects herself must have a mac lipstick, lol.

eta: i didn't even realise my recs were all mac, istg i love other brands too, this is coincidental.  :stare:

Yas. Plumful is a color that I think would look good on everybody! Other personal faves are Up the Amp, Angel, Pervette, and Twig  :chu:

Some things I've liked recently:

Clinique Cheek Pop: I like Clinique's blush formula bc it's hard to overapply and so many pretty colors. My fave is Heather pop

Revlon Liquid Eyeliner in Mahogany: I like shimmery brown eyeliner bc its not as harsh as black and it suits light eye colors

Hourglass Ambient Light powder: Finishing powder that gives a really pretty perfected look to your makeup

Anastasia Brow wiz: I like this eyebrow pencil because I really just need to fill in the tail of my eyebrows and the dipdip is too much for me  :derp:

Fresh Sugar lip treatment: I like the clear one as a lip balm and the colors are sheer and pretty and smell omg... Like lemon meringue  :ahmagah:  My fave color is Fig.
