KSY: 10 years of group activities, 1 year of solo activities, but it seems like [Taeyeon] has been a solo artist for 10 years.

Taeyeon: We've known each other for a long time.

KSY: I met you in 3rd year of high school. When you were like "Our 'Kissing You' got #1!"

 

KSY: Are you still at the dorm?

Taeyeon: Yes, same one. I'm still with members. Right now, I'm living with Tiffany, Sunny and Hyoyeon.

 

KSY mentioned drinking wine with Taeyeon at the dorm and Taeyeon couldn't remember drinking wine b/c she's weak at alcohol.

 

KSY: Isn't Hyoyeon from Incheon? And Sunny's from Seoul? Specifically near Gyungbokgung?

Taeyeon: You know such details.

 

KSY: Do you even have time to sleep?

Taeyeon: I do find time to sleep in between (projects).

 

Taeyeon's album has achieved #1 status in 12 countries, despite a battle of returning girl groups this summer.

 

Taeyeon: SNSD has its own colour as a team, so we are brighter. We smile while singing sometimes. For solo, I just sing it the way I want.

 

Taeyeon spoke about her rhinitis. Around when she did Rain and Blue Night of Jeju Island, she said she sounded like she was crying-singing.

 

Taeyeon: It was like I was crying while singing. Or like I was singing underwater.

 

KSY said her voice still had a charming quality.

 

Taeyeon: Overall, this mini album has songs with rhyme and tempo. I have my solo concerts next week.

KSY: You don't have time to rest!

 

KSY: Are you singing "Up & Down" at the concerts?

Taeyeon: I will unveil it, that's okay.

 

 

Taeyeon: When I heard "Up & Down" for the first time, I thought of Hyoyeon's voice right away so I requested her.

 

KSY said she was really surprised when she first heard "Up & Down" because Hyoyeon's rap has improved a lot.

 

Taeyeon: When "I" came out, I had concerts at an intimate venue and it's my first time doing a concert at a larger venue.

 

Taeyeon also mentioned earlier that a lot of songs on "Why" are intended to be performed live, so they were chosen with concert in mind.

 

A listener said she's scared of losing her ticket to Taengcon so she keeps it in her bag. KSY said she can lose her whole bag. LOL.

Taeyeon: There are a lot of people who love this song.

KSY: It's stylish.

 

KSY: Any thoughts of being a radio DJ again?

Taeyeon: Of course. Of course, I think about it.

KSY: What's your ideal time slot?

 

Taeyeon: I did ChinChin at 8 pm back then. I want to do an evening program.

KSY: YES! It's not my slot! It's not me! I'm still alive!

 

Apparently listeners are still leaving comments about missing Taeng DJ on ChinChin Radio's message boards.

 

Taeyeon: That's right, my member Sunny also was a radio DJ.

 

KSY (after Taeyeon reads a listener message): You did so well!

Taeyeon: My pronunciation was twisted~

 

After reading the listener message, Taeyeon said she wants the AC turned up higher (meaning she's heating up from embarrassment). Cutie.

 

KSY: Anything you want to say?

Taeyeon: Please call me for Hope Song again. I want to come back~

 

Taeyeon: Everyone, let's be even closer tomorrow~

It's also my thought, lol

Like 99% of her songs before was slow song & balladm she can't just stand & sing in the larger scale of concert

 

She indeed needs to have upbeat songs
