boaespa 68 Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 I really like the 80s and early-mid 00s a lot (also the 90s) but many people seem to hate these eras especially fashion wise. Yeah I think some of the clothing was outlandish but overall I think that added to my liking of the eras. I also liked the styling of the overall aesthetic for these decades. Also people don't really like the music from both of these eras but I think it's fantastic especially synthpop and 2000s R&B. I used to read all the teen magazines with my friends and we'd laugh at the embarrassing stories section. I'm not a fan of the fashion from this era, but I do feel a tinge of nostalgia for the make up of this time. All the lip glosses. This era was all about dat gloss. Also, anyone remember the neon colored sunglasses with rhinestones on them that become super popular? O.o That clip encapsulates all the fashion trends of that time period. hahaha Also, trucker hats were huge then, and I will never forgive that era for making that a fashion statement.
