"I" was in the making for so many years but this only had a few months. So I don't think it's fair to compare the two. I don't really like the sound she went for and it sounds too much like everything else SM has put out this year. I really wanted her to have her own unique sound. Maybe I expected too much as I was absolute perfection and totally blew me away. Do I still think she can do better? Yes, definitely, much better. I do think this will help her more in terms of making her own color. It's more recognizable than 'I', which to me just didn't really fit Taeyeon (again I'm totally in the minority with this opinion but whatever). The songs are decent. There are some that are forgettable and others that are good. I think she's on her way to finding her sound as a soloist, with this album being a step in the right direction. I'm most looking forward to her new album because she showed some growth with this album and if she continues that to her next album; I think it could be very good.
