Vromance is coming back for us I think because the title track is a ballad this time around people are less hyped generally. I'm personally not much of a fan of ballads because they tend to be very predictable. Even though it shows off their gorgeous vocals (which is always a joy) the song itself is a pretty run-of-the-mill ballad and not really my kind of song. Dolores Haze 3,663 Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) i was away the whole day so didn't get the chance to make the thread for their MV OTL yeah the title song is not my type of songs as well but i can tell it's really good. it's now winter in Korea so i understand why they decided to make it the title, but i think it's gonna make them stuck in the nugudom for a while after this. well, as long as RBW is still doing 'experiments' on them, eventually they'll find a music genre that clicks and gets more attention (just like what happened to MMM UOAY era). anyway, the 2nd track in the mini is the closest to what i've been expecting from them, i love it. i really like the whole mini. I think we kind of get spoiled with some groups from smaller company hitting daebak as soon debut. Im still confused AF on what direction RBW drive them, i dont think RBW know as well. Unlike their sister who basically drive their direction and made RBW ride. Im thinking they are in this odd position of being a vocal group with older member than the usual boygroup fandom would like but still a male group in the eyes of public. Personally I like the song, its winter and chances of ballad is high XD, but i like selfFish digital more. Still have yet to listen to full album but made sure to listen to Im Fine before i sleep, which is like bad idea XD. *Ill take note on the second track. I personally thought they were going at a pretty good direction with their debut song- something upbeat but not k-popish. I think coming back with a ballad can show off their vocals but doesn't make them stand out. I see a lot of comments on youtube about their looks and how they can't make it, but if you look at 2AM they were quite successful (although they did come from the big3). One thing i noticed though is that RBW (or the boys themselves?) seems to market themselves too Mamamooish. I love the idea of a boy version of Mamamoo but everything they've been doing is too similar and imo not innovative enough. When mamamoo came out nobody was doing what they were doing and that's why they stood out. They're still new so i hope that with more time they can find their colors and direction! So far i love them as a group and will continue to support them. One of biggest wish is to see them on immortal song again...i felt bad for them last time cause they were totally overshadowed by the rest of the contestants. It does not quite fit winter, though. Ooooh. I like this song. Definitely agree that it fits them more and I like the sound. I'm usually a ballad person, but the title track isn't really catching me. I do like the chorus though. Really nice melody. Maybe the song sounds too depressing for me. I think it wouldn't do them harm if they did a follow up with that song for maybe a week or something, if the company has funds for it. Just saw their Beautiful cover and it was wonderful!!!! My friends and I were part of a close harmony group and whenever we got drunk we inevitably ended up around a piano or guitar thinking we sounded amazing when we were actually way off lol. I'm quite wary with this if it ever happens but the possible exposure they're going to get from the show might increase the group's recognition.
