Thanks for all the recs so far! Going through them now and will report back.

You should probably say what kind of genres or styles of music you like first?

Any genre! I listen to everything except for country music. I tend to lean towards pop, electro, and hip hop though.

listen to scandal

For electro/pop, I'm sure you'll like Perfume:

They're very famous for their concerts which involve a blend of dance and live technology.

If you liked them, you can also listen to the work of their producer Nakata Yasutaka in his unit CAPSULE.

Thank you guys very much for all the recs! What a musical education. Many of the songs had a common sound and similar vocal color but there was also a lot of variation in genre. Cool.

my current favs

Suchmos has kind of a chill jazzy soft rock vibe. I enjoyed it.

Idk if it'll suit you're tastes but I really love Aimer's stuff

also AAA - Miss You and Still Love You

Liked the first Aimer song. Didn't like the second one. Whoa, there are co-ed jpop groups?? How interesting. AAA - Still Love You was pretty catchy. Thanks!

Listen to Bright, Aimer, and BENI

Wow, that Emi Maria track was unexpected. I really like it. Great rec!

Damn, you right. Perfume has a really interesting sound. Their MV/concerts are very visually entertaining too. Their producer is great. Thanks for the rec!

I enjoyed the verses of the KLOOZ song but the chorus kills it for me. Not really a fan of the rapper's voice either. It almost made my playlist lol.
