Since 2009, they have won a MAMA daesang award/s. 2009 - 2NE1, G-Dragon 2010- 2NE1 2011- 2NE1 2012- Psy, BIGBANG 2013- G-Dragon 2014- Taeyang 2015- BIGBANG Kibitzers are speculating that this Daesang train will come to an end this year. We have yet to witness a major comeback from its 'artists'. July is already book for their YGNGG and no comeback will be done in August because of the Olympics. After the Olympics, YGE has two months to give an all out comeback before the MAMA. So far EXO, Twice and Gfriend are front-runners of this year's MAMA. Do you think YGE can still salvage the remaining months? Or do you think WINNER, Lee Hi, iKON, AKMU and YGNGG is already enough to get one of the daesangs? They went on to win Artist of the Year in 2008. Lies also released in August. BB won Song of the Year in 2007. GD released CDE in September, won Artist of the Year in 2013. You wrote Psy name too. practically YG won daesangs at MAMA because of 2nd generation groups (BB, 2ne1) but is not that surprising, excepts EXO, no group that debuted after 2010 didn't get a daesang at MAMA, not just YG artists. (is the same for all companies) From the 3rd generation only EXO could compete with 2nd generation groups, Anything is possible in the future.
