Do you prefer to play a game in first person or third person?

Personally I prefer third person, although I am a bit of a noob when it comes to gaming, the little I have played makes me prefer 3rd person.  . I like to see my surrounding and see the path around my character with a 360 degree view to detect for possible enemies and I fight better that way. 

 

I tried first person and it was very tasking and I commend those who play that way but I just can't

 

 

So which do you prefer, first person or third person?

I hate first person for some reason but I still play first person games. I prefer 3rd person.

I absolutely hate third person I can't control well in third person even when I'm driving when I played driving games I have to do first person it feels more sleek and clean to me and first-person..

first time I played NFS was in 3rd person so I think i got used to it  

I can't feel like controling the car when i use 1st person, I can't follow any route

I prefer third person... I have a few first person but I don't like them that much just because of that.  I like to see the character and first person camera makes me dizzy after a while.

Depends on the game. I have all-time favourites in both camps (System Shock 2, Deus Ex, Skyrim, Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Dragon Age...)

First person all the way. I think it's easier to control and it makes the game feel more realistic in a way. Almost all of my favorite games are in first person
