WOW! So Happy for Orange Caramel. They were first place nominees on M! Countdown along with 2NE1.

 

Congrats to 2NE1 for winning 1st place and Congrats to Orange Caramel for taking 2nd! Maybe next week

I'm a recently converted Orange Caramel fan, thanks to Catallena. In reality though, I was on hiatus from the Kpop world during the time Lipstick came out, so that may explain why I'm only becoming a fan just now.

 

I like several girl groups, but I don't necessarily follow them. The only one I actually follow is Crayon Pop. With this recent conversion, I'll be following Orange Caramel as well.

Orange Caramel appeared on the March 20 installment of SBS's radio program 'Cultwo Show'.

On the program, member Nana was asked which male idol she would like to kiss because last time,

she appeared on 'Hello' and said she wanted to kiss a male idol instead of doing a duet with them. 

As it was wordplay ("match lips" 입맞춤  figuratively for a duet, "match lips" 입맞춤 literally for a kiss),

her answer was just some nonsensical fun.

The DJs asked, "One of the listeners asked which male idol you'd like to kiss as you said last time on

'Hello' that you wanted to kiss."  Nana again replied in a roundabout way, "Whomever.  A fan who likes me?"

The DJs and members said, "They asked about a male idol so why are you talking about a fan?"  Nana

just said, "I can't think of a male idol..."Raina said, "She just said that without much thought."

If I didn't take a break on Kpop during the Lipstick era, I would have been a fan already by then. I liked that video. So crazy!

 

I can tell Way and Choa apart 75% of the time. It's only hard to tell them apart if, let's say, you put them on a teletubbies costume. The really hardcore fans can tell them apart though.

 

Orange Caramel CDs are readily available in my country, unlike Crayon Pop's. I already know their name but I never took interest in watching their videos until I saw that concept photo for Catellena. I mean, 3 packed mermaids/fishes for 1000 won? Who wouldn't get interested?

 

I'm a Raina fan (also recently converted, thanks to a certain blogger who preaches Rainaism). I think that face is...just full of cuteness. So I can't believe how different she looks in the opening page of the AS thread.
