For some reason I keep thinking that "Catallena" might be like a "Spanish" concept.

Just cause Catallena sounds Spanish...lol  What do you guys think?

After School released another teaser image through its official Facebook page for subunit Orange Caramel's upcoming third single, 'Catallena'!Previously, the prominent question centered on the identity of the mysterious 'Catallena.' Now, it appears that 'Catallena' is none other than comedian Kim Dae Sung! Don't be fooled by the appearance, however. It turns out that Kim Dae Sung is a man who frequently dresses up as a woman on 'Gag Concert'. The picture's caption said, "Comeback! ORANGE CARAMEL! 'Catallena' is DaeSung Kim?"

Orange Caramel will be releasing comeback preview on music shows this week,

each music show will have a different previewThey will be holding surprise premier event on March 11th.

50 chosen fans gets to listen Catallena n watch the MV b4 its release.

So like did they move the date or something because I believe they said the MV was going to release on March 6th or has it already been released or something?

I'm assuming they did because it hasn't been released yet, I haven't seen anything regarding a new date though.  :._.:

Q : A hoobae who have left a good impression?

 

OC : Although we’re busy preparing for comeback, we’re still monitoring the music programs.

When we watch it, there’s a hoobae who really stands out and it’s Bangtan Boys. They’re basically very good, but this time; ‘Man in Love’ is really daebak. Song, rap, dance, and even facial expression have left a good impression to us. And AOA also left us good impression. They’re pretty and they can even play instruments, and they are sexy too.We like them before, too; but even us are falling for them because of their recent sexy concept.

 

Q : I think OC/AS have become a ‘Sunbae’ without you even realize it?

 

OC : Aigoo! The great sunbaenim might angry at this!(laugh) Actually, we now have a lot of hoobaes and it’s amaze us somehow. When we’re going to music program, we were just busy to greet everyone but we don’t even realize that now the hoobaes are the one who greet us first. At that time, we feel it. As a sunbae, we feel that we need to work even harder to not lose from the hoobaes. We’ll be Orange Caramel who always be confident and do their best to not bring shame to the hoobaes!

 

Q : OC’s goals in 2014? OC : We want to properly stands out as

 

OrangeCaramel. Although a lot of people cover and imitate us, actually we haven’t rank #1 at music programs. In this year, as Orange Caramel, we aim for the best place. Also, we want to hold Orange Caramel concert on year-end. Ah, and another thing we couldn’t left out! We want to shoot and orange juice and a caramel CF.

Orange Caramel will be pre-releasing their music video for “Catallena†to 50 special fans at their fan meeting on the 11th of March. 

Their fan meeting will be somewhat of a “surprise preview†for 50 special fans who were invited to attend, and thus they will be the

only fans who will get to preview the music video and listen to the whole song.  Pledis Entertainment will be tweeting pictures live on

their official Twitter and Facebook pages on the day. 

 

Their comeback single, “Catellenaâ€will be officially released on the 12th of March, and they will be

having their comeback stage on Mnet’s M! Countdown on the 13th.

I think I'm becoming a fan of OC. I kept hesitating to buy the Lipstick album while in SK, and now I wish I had gotten it because it was like $10. T_T

 

I LOVE the third track ë¯¸ì¹œ ë“¯ì´ ìš¸ì—ˆì–´!

At first I was like ehhh ballad but then the music started getting all eletro pop and I was sold  :la:

Live performance was great! They are really refreshing after a lot of the same concepts lately.

Yeah Catallena is definitely different from recent concepts, I kept replaying the mv on youtube for like an hour  :derp: My fave part is the suruuuuuuk and paruuuuuuk part. The whole single is great!

I like it more than Lipstick. Unpopular opinion?

Tbh I don't even which one I like more, I like lipstick because of the beat and the omo omo part but I like Catallena cause of the quirkiness of it all and the parts I mentioned before.....so I guess I like them the same.

 

Actually my fave OC song/concept was Bangkok City!  :la:
