I cannot believe Mnet is doing that crap of releasing one stage before the show airs as a teaser... they did that with Produce 101 T-T totally kills the hype for the fans of who they released the video. Anyways I liked Momo's stage... I appreciate how she really sticked to the concept instead of dressing as a vampire and doing a random pop choreo

So my favorites were Ukwon for performance and Ten for choreography. Still pissed I will only see Hyoyeon in the next ep but from the previews I love how she went for a different approach of the concept. Everyone else went for the creepy, really dark characters (hello 2 jokers) and Hyo went for Femme Fatale, attraction, sex and fire

Thoughts so far (trying to be as objective as I can):

Ten's stage was the best so far. His concept was cult member who got possessed. Too bad he went first. 

Bora's concept was woman scorned, I believe. She did good, her expressions were on point, but dancing with Honey J at the second half was a bit bad. It had a lot to do with how it was choreographed, Honey J was always in the front, which in turn overshadowed Bora, but also there were moves they weren't in sync.

Momo's expressions were good as well. But she had a few out of sync moves. I think one judge pointed out her shoes (I think they were laced up ones and not gonna lie they look a bit uncomfortable?) were holding her back.

I really loved Ukwon's expressions! He scared me a bit and he was in character all throughout. But, his stage was too flashy. I think the other three's dances were better than his in the end. I wish he showed more moves and removed some of those shooting scenes from his stage.

 

... I can't at some of you guys trying to downplay Bora's stage though, are y'all serious. Just because you didn't know her concept smh.

Bora's concept is a Witch... I actually liked her performance better than Momo's its just as you said the dancing got bad torwards the end.

 

Momo was dancing in high heels wich she propably isnt really used to, you can tell she didn't have full balance

Well, except that both girls already danced with Sexy concepts.

Their concepts were Witch and Vampire.....aka as I said creepy/dark characters

It doesn't mean it wasn't a sexy choreo... I don't really understand korean but when they were introducing Bora they said the word "Sexy" at least four times... 

I'm talking about how they interpret the concept...... Joker, Ghost, Exorcism, Witch, Vampire all characters you see in horror movies, halloween. And Hyoyeon interpreted differently as an Attractive woman/ femme fatale can also be a Devil

 

It isn't even that deep I just casually mentioned what I noticed that's it

I could tell they were trying to make Hoya Vs Ukwon and Hyoyeon Vs Momo happen but this one was really funny

 

They showed Hyoyeon's face when Momo's stage is about to start

My overall opinion on the stages. Taking total consideration they had to follow a concept and create and actual performance with that concept

Ten>Hoya>Hyo>Taemin>Ukwon>Momo>Bora>Shownu

1. Ten worked his concept the best. He didn't ignore it to dance and he also didnt ignore dancing bc of the concept. Was the only one that actually stayed in character AND had really good dancing at the same time.

2. Hoya after the little intro was just dancing in a Joker costume but his dancing was LIT and I can't ignore that lol.

3. Hyoyeon had the most original approach of the concept (her concept was Femme Fatale/Devil in woman form) and came out displaying technique from a total different dance style from anyone else and her own since she is a hip hop/ popping&locking trained dancer. Wich as her fan I'm really proud of her because even during DWTS 4 years ago Tango was one of the styles she struggled the most with. And her Tango technique actually improved o.o She pulled it off perfectly.If the dancing was a bit stronger she would have been #2 for me

4. Taemin is Taemin he is one of my favorite dancers in kpop, his skills are probably the best from the 8 but the lack of creative effort in his stage kinda bothered me a bit. It was straight up a Sayonara Hitori stage. If we were jusding just dancing I think he would be first for me but...

5. Ukwon was really into his concept but totally ignored the fact that he had to dance

6.7 Momo and Bora really sticked to their concept but I kinda felt in a rollercoaster watching them. Momo's perf would go hard then weak hard and weak and Bora started hard and went weak in the end. Between the 2 I like Momo's performance more

8. Shownu just like Hoya was just dancing in a halloween costume, his dancing was good but probably the weakest from the boys and his concept performance was the weakest overall imo

 

Next week QUEEN CHUNGHA HAS MY HEART!!!! And I find it cute Ukwon is dancing with YooA and Hyoyeon is dancing with YooA's brother haha

Momo and Taemin cause bias. But honestly, I wished there were more female dancers. Or for the existing ones that it would be just as big of a production (the dancing) for them as it is for the guys. (Guys get the huge RAWR and JUMPING and EPIC GROUP CHOREOGRAPHY and girls....sigh.)

The third concept recording was yesterday

The confirmed are: Hyoyeon, Ten, Bora, Shownu, Ukwon and FeelDog

 

No Momo or Hoya bc they had schedule

Hyoyeon, Ten and Ukwon 3rd concept in a row

And Bora and Shownu comeback after not recording for the 2nd concept.

If this is true, at this rate it feels that Hyo, Ten and UKwon are going to be fixed cast.

But, it's missing Chungha and Hyoeseung (?)...and wonder if Stephanie will join for the third concept round.

There's that SM event in Hawaii on the day of a recording so I think Hyo and Ten will be missing for an ep too

How do you know the order? I thought they were doing the order from the crying result from last to first but ukwon and chungha switched

My favorites so far were YooA and Ten. Stephanie killed it but too much unnecessary sexual stuff. My love Chungha is probably one of the best technically but her perf was a bit weird idk if it was bc Mnet kept cutting it out or bc too many backup dancers but it was weird, she totally slayed that dance battle against Momo tho, Chungha never goes light. Ukwon letting his backup dancers do everything for him again was annoying. It looked like YooA's stage, his score is going to be totally thanks to her just like Hyunseung and Stephanie. Stephanie did everything it looked like he wasnt even trying, he got outshined by a Ballet dancer doing hip hop... He seemed kind of a joke for me, considering all the media play and hype that was around his "comeback after leaving beast"

 

I'm looking forward to Momo's stage, it looks like it will be a different concept from anyone else. Ofc looking forward to Hyoyeon and Junsun even tho it looks like it will be too cute and sweet for my taste lol Hoya has potential to win this one.

 

I wonder why the votes are so low this time tho... Its weird

Maybe...but based on this episode results, it seems females will still get it hard to reach great scores.

 

I expected Chungha to score high due I.O.I popularity but just surpassed Ten by one point.

 

Moreover, the fact that none of this scores surpased the lowest one from the first episode (142). It may tell something is up or has changed.

 

But, if Momo wins, may satansoo protect OH from the #mess.

So according to this rank, Hoya is last (probably he will rank first), Feeldog should be the first performance on the next episode and Hyoyeon and Momo will be "head to head".

 

Weird that U-Kwon and Chungha switched, moreover. If we base the preview on this rank, should this mean that Feeldog ranked lower than U-Kwon? Or it MNet "editing" again?

 

P.D: If the preview is legit on it's editing, why I feel, judging by the "reactions" , Hyo ranked lower than U-Kwon again?

 

I low-key hope that she recieve the high score among females again...although it will depend which fandom is dominating the audience...again

My favorite performance still is YooA's (yes not Ukwon's, YooA's). The dancing was great, the story line suited the theme perfectly and with a different approach too. Unfortunately the main person of the stage danced for 10 seconds again so even tho I loved it I think everyone else (besides Hyunseung) deserved to rank above him. 

 

Momo's score was SO LOW what the hell??? I'm not even her fan but damn that was unfair, she did great. In fact I think she suits this style more than hip hop, she should invest more on contemporary & ballet, she has a natural talent for it, she has pretty body lines and her body language works with it better too. I was already convinced she would rank #2. And just like Hyoyeon last time I love that she used a different approach of the concept I loved the whole obsession thing with the song.

 

Hoya's was really good, strong and intense and all I cannot deny it was an amazing performance but it's getting previsible, I would like some variety from him since we already obviously know intense and strong are his thing

 

Hyoyeon's stage was really simple and smooth and I'm not getting all the "the stage was boring/lacking" comments. Just because it didnt have a big production. But I thought that was what fans wanted? For the show to be straight up about dancing? She gave you straight up great dancing. Dancing can be smooth and sweet, it doesn't have and it shouldn't be intense,strong and energetic all the time, that's why different feels exist and just because the show is getting you used to flashy performances it doesn't mean the simple ones were lacking on skills. She danced a lot, it was perfect for the theme, I really really liked it.

 

FeelDog's stage was good too but the concept kinda got lost in there. It was one of my favorite performances tho, just for the dancing itself

 

So this is like how I think the ranking should have been

 

Hoya > Momo > Ten > FeelDog > Hyoyeon > Chungha > Ukwon > Hyunseung

I've been trying to figure out what the hell people want in HTS but its quite impossible lol

 

Ten has been delivering amazing dancing, his first stage was amazing, his second stage was amazing but he didn't get to top 3 on none of it then on the performance he dances the least he wins lol I'm sad tbh I wanted more stages from him (and there's this rumor that the winners don't comeback to the show)

 

I was really mad that the audience couldnt give Hyoyeon, Bora and STEPHANIE more points than Hyunseung... Like for real...his performance had 100 back up dancers, it was hip hop style but it wasnt even entertaining to watch and I'm pretty sure it got saved by the skull guy... But anyways...I'm happy Hyoyeon still gets the most points from the females but when you realize the female that got more points ranked #5 its quite disappointing. Hyoyeon did popping, Bora did TAP DANCING, and Stephanie did Ballet, like they have actually shown technique from a specific dance style instead of just dancing for a show. Justice for the ladiessss
