hoya said he'll quit the show if his performance is a failed one. hmm... this is giving me hopes that the 'rumor' of changing casts every week is not true. im confused. changing casts every week is really stupid and illogical, no matter from what angle im looking at.

 

anyways, i cant wait to finally see new choreos from queen hyo   and after watching bora's performance in one of the award show, i cant wait to see more of her dancing. momo too, ive never really care about twice but i heard lots of good things about her so im rooting for her too! go girls!

it's not about what she could do (4 second are enough to show something epic) but compared to the other performers her steps looked without energy, I could have been caused with her outfit, loose clothes makes the performers look more careless

 

i agree. i dont see any fire or power in her dancing, which is weird because she is known for dynamic and power dancing   but i know her actual stage would be epic so id be waiting for that. and her stage presence is just crazy! so be great, queen!

 

and hoya!!!!!!!!!!!! my ultimate kpop dancer crush! awesome as usual!

 

i hope they have a collab dance stage with all contestants in each episode. that would be dope and i just want people to shut up with all the fiery putting-down-others-to-make-your-bias-more-awesome comparisons. just enjoy them all being awesome together!

derrrrr. have to wait for another week for hyo, tae and hoya? ugh. im mad. but i enjoyed the first episode. so im not too bitter. they shud've showed everyone's stage for the first stage. WTH.

 

i love ten's stage but i agree with the score. ukwon did great. his performance showcased his potential and talent and the impact was great. but i also agree he shud've dance more. im anticipating more from him now.

 

bora was amazing and she danced really well. but in her stage, her partner was way better than her. my eyes cant get away from her (honey j, was it?) cant wait to see more of bora.

That's true, their camerawork for the performances was pretty good. I feel like the first episode was a pretty good balance of everything...but since next week has bigger names, I expect the ~drama~ to increase lol.

 

 

Maybe you know her from School 2015? She was the friend of the popular twin, lol. 

 

For anyone that's wondering why she's at the show, it's probably because she's a dancer herself. She's part of the same dance crew as Bora's partner (Purplow). She has a couple of vids of her dancing on her IG, and this is one of them (girl with the white top in the front). ^^

hi there! followed the thread because i live for dance competitions or any dance based shows!!!

 

1st episode, so far...a little underwhelming. There's not enough variety? not so much dancing... the reactions were exaggerated (seriously what's with the random panel?!?) but yeah, it's just the 1st ep, there's still so much time for improvement, i hope they wont continue on with those same types of routine.

 

IMO, the performance that really stood out (so far) was the exorcist one w/ NCT's Ten. 

 

"dancing is not just about the technique, it also includes flash and overall appearance" true...but

 

 

 

 

 

i pray to the tv gods that Mnet would add a legit criteria for jugding...again, WHAT'S WITH THE RANDOM PANEL & EXAGGERATED REACTION CUTS?!?

you may think that i'm rooting for Taemin automatically because im his stan...lol NO. i'm rooting for the best performance!!! 

 

im excited for the future episodes, with or without Taemin tbh.

 

BLESS YOU! that's the whole point of this show (at least thats what it's supposed to be). to let these amazing idol dancers show their true power and talent. may the best performance wins!

 

mnet blew it tbh. they shouldve made them dance as a group at least once in every episode. i know it'll be hard since they're all busy people but damn, that will be awesome and definitely will take the show to another level. but instead, they keep showing people reacting to the routines and useless talks. they shouldve shown the contestants practicing at least. and more of them interacting with each other! oh im crying over all the "what couldve" and "what shouldve" well, at least we're still only on the 1st episode. mnet, step it up!

i really dont understand why they would divide the show into two. it just feels so redundant. why not just show all of the performances? do people really like and enjoy the show being divided like this? does it really gives any effect at all?
