So CD sales in Taiwan keeps crashing even lower.

I think the crashing of CD sales could correlate with the rise of kkbox. I can't be bothered to find evidence to prove or disprove my thoughts.

Did you mean you havent listened to those specific albums or those artists? Because Mayday have awesome songs and huge back catalogue.

 

About the list itself, Sodagreen album is great and I thought JJs was strong, although none of his new songs have the same magic as his earlier hits to me, even though his newer ones seem more polished. It would be a much better of average of sales if Jolin, Leehom, Jay and Mayday had released new albums in the recorded year though, since they sell the most physical cds along with Show.

artists. I either don't like them (Show, JJ, Rainie) or never listened to them (the rest). Mayday is an act that i have some interest in checking out but have never gotten around to. I've only ever heard one song from them, don't ask which one cus i don't know  :)

Wow, I'm surprised Show's album snatched the first place. I couldn't even finish listening to it because it was that bad. I'm so happy for JJ Lin, Sodagreen and Aska Yang though. Their albums were very solid and cohesive.

Wow, I'm surprised Show's album snatched the first place. I couldn't even finish listening to it because it was that bad. I'm so happy for JJ Lin, Sodagreen and Aska Yang though. Their albums were very solid and cohesive.

show's music was never good lmao, he's not selling it for its quality

There is one song i really liked in Angel Wings (and not a ballad as you probably guessed already :3) \o/

really? all the pop songs i've heard from her were not good at all.

I never even finished listening through Angel Wings and don't remember anything about it.

She's one of those artists where i listen to and wonder why are they so popular.

oh this song. It's not bad but i'm not going to keep getting her albums if there's only 2 or 3 songs that i like on each one.

 

I admit that i was a Rainie fan at first also when i first started getting into cpop and twdramas. The first one watched was of course Devil Beside You. But the more i listened to cpop the more i saw how mediocre her music was overall. Her dramas also because DBY was her only one i was able to finish, not counting the mini web one with Show this year.

so was i. Her recent dramas are terrible though, I didn't like any since the one with show (eventhough i absolutely hated the ending.)
