 YongU is the couple name for CNBLUE's leader and lead vocal Yong-hwa and solo singer "Nation's little sister" IU. (This couple is officially confirmed to be just friends on 10/8/15)

It all began on a cold winter day in 2011...

Why ship YongU?

 

The charm of the YongU couple is in the way they awkwardly stand next to each other. In the way IU can barely glance at Yong-hwa's face during a duet while Yong-hwa eyes are full of intense passion. In the way you can just tell, that those two are so in love not interested.

 

There's just something so romantic about a pair who are trying their best not to look each other in the eye.

Both are singer-songwriters, guitarists, and actors.

IU: The 1st time I met him (YH) was during their debut period on Music Bank. a few days ago, someone posted on twitter that IU's favourite flower was 'bongsunga'/ garden balsams. She had said before that her favourite flower was lily.. there's nothing wrong with changing minds... but a quick look on wikepedia tell me that another name for bongsunga is, 'bongseonhwa'

There are couple of spots where I thought it described IU but I could be wrong.  Oh, I really like the music, it's so cheesy yet so sweet.  

Maybe I'm reaching which of course I'm not since its YongU and they're 100% real   BUT he could be referencing her song STAR SEARCHING which I think has a similar theme. That would not be a coincidence of course!

Hello...I have just recently became a fan of IU and I would say that I absolutely love this girl.  I want her to be happy to whoever can make her happy but just recently, I had become a delusional fans of yonghwa and IU.  I don't know why but I had this gut feeling that they are either just good friends or they are really dating or will date in the future. Everyone says I can read people so let's see.

I'm new here but those 2 together are my favourites. I've started shipping them since gayo daejun and let me thank you for creating this thread even if I always end up smiling like an idiot whenever I read the comments. I've been a silent lurker since the beginning and
I don't know if it's just me being totally delulu but those 2 are so freaking suspicious.

So yonghwa is close to 2 of my other male crushes aka verbal jint and zion.t and out of sudden zion.t started to like her pictures on Instagram and verbal jint posted one of them.....hmm as if I wasn't delulu enough now even his friends are suspicious.

Welcome! So its possible that his friends are openly teasing him?   Just checked Yonghwa's instagram and its full of hot photos of himself dang it! Even if he's not following IU on instagram I bet he knows what's going on. Maybe its time for me to download the app so I can start REALLY stalking lol
