Like view and 4 walls sound "similar" bc they are both deep house which has underlying beats that are fast paced and easily heard therefore the overlying vocals and sounds are quite different. The majority of kpop songs incorporate EDM somehow into the songs lol but fans don't seem to get it. That's why I always rme when kpop fans say they're tired of EDM. Edm is one of the most diverse genres, I'm actually surprised it took this long for sm (or any company rly) to start really playing around with it. They aren't cultured on edm. Edm is one of the most diverse genres, I'm actually surprised it took this long for sm (or any company rly) to start really playing around with it. If it sounds similar it could just be the same genre since EDM is typically based on strong underlying beats so that might be what you're hearing.
