singermelodie1 1,638
I think some companies should plan for at least three comebacks before they disband the group. Like take for example Kiss&Cry, their debut was great but didn't get enough attention but the company decided to disband them after that one song. Mephistopheles 1,933
Maybe they do and they just don't follow through? But yeah, I also think groups should get more input on their music, concepts, and variety appearances.

Danny Potter 166
Ummm that SM comment was a joke right? I agree. You can only plan so far for groups. If they release a song and it flops, their agency doesn't get that money back so they can't prepare for their next comeback.

But if the first comeback fails, why would a company bother to waste money on two more?

I think that's still too far in advance. Especially if you're a small agency

End City 1,607
There's only so much planning can do. Very true. I think companies do their best but the entertainment industry is very rocky, you never know whats gonna happen.
8ternity 302
My babies were lucky enough to get that 3 chances. But then again NH was to blame for the flopping of the first two. The boys don't decide their concepts.
lepidoptery 2,917
I think they should plan and budget better so the success of the group/company is not dependent on the results from debut (unless the results are worse than nothing, like actually negative, in which case it's smart to quit). They should budget for, like, a 1-year plan with at least a debut and comeback. Lots of nugu companies are just not that credible, I guess, or financially solvent. So it can be good to sign some other talent first, like be the dedicated management company for a couple of actors so there's some guaranteed income while you try to get the idol group portion of the company going.
