(But then they added Kyuhyun and it became an official group) SM has never pushed this group since their debut Leeteuk even said on a broadcast, "Back then, people listened to our songs and cursed us. But these days, they cursed us without even listening to our songs" YG's representative group: Bigbang YG has never done anything to Bigbang beside planning their debut and gathered the members. Postponing their debut is just a basic. No group can compare against Bigbang's period of hiatus. Being careless about their sales and career is also just a basic. They're also famous for not promoting Bigbang properly. FNC's representative group: FT Island The fact that FNC has came this far, it's all because of FT Island. FT Island was labeled as 'Monster Rookie', they won 1st place in a short period of time after their debut. Their debut song even topped the music charts for 6 weeks in a row. But, they got paid for the first time 5 years after their debut. CEO Han also made Hongki has a bad image. Comparing him with Jung Yonghwa, etc. Lee Hongki also once admits that he dislikes his agency in V-app. But he still renews his contact (to match with the other members' contract) original -Hyunsuk-ah.. DBSK was the representative group for a while and then, after the split, that title really transferred to Soshi more than anyone else IMO SM has played Suju dirty for their entire careers, and the groups success will remain one of the greatest comeups in kpop history tbh Leeteuk even said on a broadcast, "Back then, people listened to our songs and cursed us. Suju also helped make SM relevant in modern kpop (kpop was going through a huge shift at the time and Suju made the transition to new, younger fans easier for SM). People need to give them their due, tbh. They were the first group to have a subunit. The first group to have a member who is not of Korean descent. First group to hold 100 international concerts. First Korean group to have concerts in Macau, France and Argentina. There's a lot of stuff Super Junior doesn't get credit for, because people only want to talk shit about them. Yes, they've had their share of scandals, and no, the members are probably not as well-behaved as they could be ... but there's been a lot of good stuff over the years. I don't think that was yg's fault, they were busy with their solo activities. They're also famous for not promoting Bigbang properly. Because they don't need it anymore? Yg promoted them like crazy during their debut. I'm sorry but if you think yg didn't promote bigbang, you're crazy. They were even hospitalised because they promoted non-stop.
