They've been doing so well for all these years, and this happen  :rlytearpls:  So what do you think are the best plans for them in the future after all of them are discharged from army?

Edit: I'm aware that JYJ is not that active as group and members do focus on solo  activities most of the time, but it doesn't change the fact that they need a stance with the group, cause they're still working as JYJ members and labelled as JYJ member in every articles in everything they do. They need a clear stance because public already start associating JYJ with negative reputation which I think will affect junsu and jaejoong even in their solo works.

Jaejoong and Junsu going solo and occasionally get together (guest each others' concerts etc). Maybe even a duet or a joint concert.

Sounds like the most ideal plan. Not that much would change anyways (apart from Yoochun no longer going to the get-togethers) since they've been mostly focusing on their solo careers anyways.

I don't see a duo as a posibility. I was waiting for JaeSu duo since forever though lol I mean some duo album of these two voices.

but I think they gonna focus in their solo careers. They are doing this since long ago already.

JYJ was barely active as group.

Yoochun has caused a lot of damage for them but I think they gonna survive this.

Korean fandoms are pretty individualistic. So they gonna support their own faves. This is true that they bring more public to the concerts as JYJ but JaeSu have a fairly large fandom to survive. By the way JYJ fandom was already pretty split already anyways(there are a lot of solo fans who support one member only).

in the worst case, let's assume that Korea rejects JaeSu for YC's fault ..they still have Japan(especially Jaejoong) and China.

ps. I think YC gonna retire from industry anyway. He was pretty done with this type of life since long ago from my perspective.

idk for sure of course but regardless of the outcome, I doubt he would be removed from the group. I can see him just going on hiatus and "reflecting" for a while while Junsu and Jaejoong do more and more solo activities

they've been solo-focused for a while now anyway so... tbh I don't see much changing at all, other than public opinion

That depends entirely on the results of the police investigation tbh. If he's found innocent, I doubt anything will really change with JYJ. If he's found guilty though, JYJ will probably disband (or go on indefinite "hiatus") and Jaejoong and Junsu will just do solo stuff from then on.

does jyj even exist anymore tbh

Not really. They mostly do solos, there solos were always better & there fans are always very split up lol. There's that kpop slang/vocab for those fans who only Stan 1 individual member & don't care about the rest (I forgot what is it), that's basically JYJ fandom lol.

If yoochun proven to be innocent ,i think he is still working in entertainment but he will go to China because his career in Korea already dead, junsu still working in Korea, jaejoong will go to japan but... this is what they are planning since the beginning right it's just the JYJ comeback will not happen again.

that's what everybody said during their hiatus between 2011-2014 until their comeback 2 years ago. they managed to fill up seoul stadium with 40000 audiences.

my answer would be similar to hanryfan:

a jaejoong-junsu duet is unlikely... considering their fans are in constant cold war ala North/South Korea since the beginning of time

it will be really sad because while they thrived in their respective solo careers, whenever the 3 come together, magic is created.

Yoochun will recover his image and start doing drama after a while.

Jaejoong and Junsu will be active as solo or joint concert, but finally Yoochun take part on it.

P. S.

LMAO, I know it sounds too good, but maybe I am just an incredibly optimistic person.

I am positive with Yoochun career as long as all of these scandals are not proven

Having followed than for more than11 years, If he is proven Innocent and cleared of the charges, he will survived. His solo fans are still very loyal .Most support him as an actor. And his fan base is enormous and china fans are huge and very closely knitted.. And nothing will change in terms of popularity for Jyj as a group. Some fans may leave, but the bulk will stay with them.

JYJ is done. Junsu has to do his military service and Jaejoong still has to complete his...by the time they are both in the same space it will be too late to salvage the group/duo.

Whats kind of eerie is that in their last concerts they kept talking about how that could possibly be their last concert because they didn't know what would happen in the future...kind of ominous sounding now
