He survived but lost his sights and sense of smell. His brother died though. He did his first reddit AMA when he was 17 and showed cool things like how he plays Mortal kombat, Pokemon and surfs the internet. Really interesting and inspiring stuff. He also said he had depression and PTSD but the depression got better after taking anti depressants. Just wanted to post this here for those who haven't seen this. His brother died though. What? His father tried to kill both of them? I am glad what happened to him and its consequences weren't an impediment for doing such things he can enjoy.
