S.H.E. who debuted in 2001!

They went through a lot, and have still continued to stay strong

Selina survived a horrible explosive accident on a filming site, and was able to make a full recovery

They stayed together even after members got married

They each went off and created their own successful solo careers

But still stayed together as S.H.E.

And their friendship only grew

Bonus, even their dads are cute together!

Who in kpop can you see following the same trajectory?

Obvious answer, B.E.G. It's difficult for female idols to continue in the industry once they get older and start getting married and having families. But B.E.G. members aren't seen as typical idols, but more like Narsha's nickname "adult-dol". Idols are marketed off of the whole potential bf/gf material image, but I can see it starting to change in kpop with all the relationship reveals in the last few years. I think it'll normalize and the whole dating thing won't be as scandalous in the future.

I didn't even know of this group's existence but I find this really, really cute. True friendship  :rlytearpls:

To answer OP's question at the end of the post- call me delusional, but I have faith in Seventeen sticking together because they've been through years of shit together already. And I have a feeling Red Velvet are really close, too.

I hope so  :)

They seems to have a really genuine friendship and I hope they keep it up! I agree that BEG could follow the same path
