What I understood was that Group A will compete against each other, and the B group will do the same.

So Bohyung should have chosen the weakest members, but she chose the Sojung and Uji, that have such powerful voices.

If she had done that then she would have looked weak and scared. I doubt Seunghee was going to choose Uji so in the end Bohyung would've got her anyway. If you really want to win then you gotta beat them all anyway. I like what Bbo did because a lot of the girls on Team A now think Team B is stronger, and that thought will stir in them for the next few weeks as the teams are separated. Though I doubt Bohyung had a strategy in mind, she just chose people she knew and had worked with at first. 

But if team B will destroy each other, fear them doesn't make sense since only one there will go the the final.

So, choose the weakest members is not a proof of weakness, but inteligence (if Bohyung intent to win). Do you got it? Team A leader should have done the same, but she just did it randomly, because of MC's pression.

By the way... does anyone else really dislike the male judges/mentors so far or is it just me

Actually I thought the female judges were the worst. idk, a superiority look over most of the girls, a bit envious maybe. They took down Kei for being too cute when she was performing a cute song (?) wtf?

I feel sorry for Jinsol, she's only 16, I hope she don't get this too serious.

i especially dont mind seo inyoung, but maybe that's because she reminds me of kahi in p101 a bit

 

 

just because women show negative/non positive reaction to other women, doesn't mean they are jealous.

 

and a lot of women (and people in general) dislike seeing aegyo, especially from other women. i don't mind it, but i can see why she found it cringey.

 

 

Not really, Seo Inyoung said that because lovelyz has a cute, pretty image, she was expecting some sort of twist in her solo performance, but because there was none, she thought it's a small minus on that, saying that more than a 'vocal', it felt more like a visual performance. Kei also said she went with a simpler song to show her image as Lovelyz Kei in the solo interview. I don't think that was a 'take down', she was giving some food for thought? She was also smiling at Kei's aegyo performance.

 

Also she has a very cool personality and face so she looked unhappy or overly serious half the time; she mentioned that she personally thinks uji have potential, but during her performance she held a straight face. 

 

Then again I'm very used to seeing her like that, so maybe it's different from me. XD but both Seo Inyoung and Lee Jihye are great vocalists, it really wouldn't hurt to hear their advice.

 

P.S: they're not actually judges, they don't give the girls the scores. They're 'gurus', so they'll be giving the girls advice after watching their performance ^ o ^

 

They were there to evaluate the skill of the contestants and give tips to help then. But they MUST understant that every girl there have their own concept. The fancy concept, the powerful concept, the sexy concept, the funny concept and the cute concept. Ask them to not put their own style in a song is f*cking ridiculous. If they or you don't like aegyo, ok. But they should judge the singing skill, not the personal style.

But personal style impacts singing style and audience reception/feedback. If the personal style makes the judges (audience) uncomfortable than they aren't going to vote high. i know for a fact is anyone tried to put aegyo or cuteness into their singing performance I would be out the door. The audience are 50% music-focused students so they are looking at overall vocal performance.

And the judges are the audience. The "gurus" are the ones who will provide guidance/ advice so the blame for the low scores isn't on them. It's the public' decision.

The personal style doesn't impact in the audience at all, since the audience there are fandoms, they will just vote for their favs.

By your logic Kei should have swept everyone else, but she didn't. Yes there are audience members who will only pick their favs but as we've seen from the first episode this audience is actually doing a decent job of being impartial.

Of course not. The fandoms sits were shared equally. AND there are fandoms there who dislike some of the contestants. So, no, I don't believe the audience is impartial.

Look at the voting poll. Seunghee is winning cuz she was the best to clc fans, and Kei is in 2nd place.

Pretty much especially since a lot of the richer fandom noonas/oppas will just pitch in to give some of the participating members similar prizes anyways.

 

 

If you're talking about the online polls, #1 on both polls is CLC's Seunghee which actually further makes your point haha.

yes, the 2 online polls. CLC Seunghee is leading and Kei is right behind her in both. Jinsol is in 4th in poll 1 and 3th in poll 2. What shows that the results are not impartial, but biased, and there's nothing wrong with this. This show is made to fans.

But I don't know what counts to win, the votes online or the votes from the live audience, since this is recorded...

 

The finals will be live? Idk what will happen

Bohyung is a high level singer, it's improbable she forget the lyric or crack. She's in this show cuz, despite she a amazing singer, she still a nugu. You can see this in her guerrilla performance. I hope Jinsol use this experience to make progress as an artist.

 

Btw, I will stop posting here. I'm trying to be nice and technical. I stan all the girls there (not the pledis girl, because I don't know her, she's a good singer anyway). But, as I said, people are biased and the neg squad arrived, and when they start to neg every opinion that they don't agree, the thread start to getting polluted.
