If the choreography is lame with a bunch of aegyo hand motions and the song is nothing special, then I can see how someone would hate it. In my case, I can stan Lovelyz because I like their music and their choreography is interesting to watch. I'm not a big fan of high pitched song for the sake of appeal. As a boygroup stan, the only girl groups I love listening to is Mamamoo. They have a more quirky sound to them and their songs really showcase vocals. Bless your ears with this song 10/10 would recommend. I like Oh My Girl and Gfriend who could be considered cutesy groups, but I like them because they both have unique music and beautiful choreography. On the other hand, I feel as though there are too many unoriginal cutesy groups (April, WJSN, Lovelyz pre-Destiny, etc) and I can't stand aegyo and grown-ups acting childish. Not everyone likes submissive girls though I am the opposite as Electric, hence why I prefer stronger concept. Like the 4Minute and WonderGirls (and hopefully Ygngg). I don't always enjoy cute concept. I like more dominating types. I still like G-Friend. They are "cute/innocent" but have a vibe that makes it work for them and attracts me.
