Are you proud of the fact that your bias group/fandom is well known for bulk-buying?

A long while ago I used to view bulk buying as something being negative. I equated it to sajaegi, cheating the charts basically. It was something of foreign nature to me when I was still fairly new to Kpop.

But, as of now I've grown accustomed to it.

Yes, most (if not all) my bias group's fandom/fansites bulk-buy....it's not a secret. But I see it more now as being very intuitive and very efficient. Not only does it cut on shipping costs, but also the availability to the consumers. The people who wish to purchase said album. A lot of fans do not have the means of ordering stuff online, so in a way this solves that problem.

If your fandom/bias groups are well known for bulk purchases, how doEs it make you feel?

If they are not, would you want them to be able to?

Share your sentiments, ideals and/or beliefs about this ongoing practice within not only Kpop, but the Asian music industry

really, people need to start minding their own business.

it's not like one person is buying 1,000 copies for her/himself. and even if they did, let them! it's their money, not yours.

i honestly can't give two shits about whether an album is being bought in bulk or nah.

No. Especially when those bulk buys who gift the albums to orphanage etc... Just no.

Would you like to touch up on that a bit? As I honestly see nothing wrong with possibly gifting a bulk purchase to people who may not have the monetary means to do so..

It's a great way to reduce shipments costs. I don't see anything negative with that. _exo__luhan_eating_emoticon_by_emojiprin

Very true :)

And ALL of them still count towards the idol's sales, so that's a huge plus

Because I think orphanages need other things much more than multiple copies of the same album.

Aha yeah

I guess some people still think it's just one person buying thousands of albums. When in fact, it's a organized fansites with many people involved who do so

yeah as usual people just throw opinions around without actually bothering to check what something really means

I don't know why people use bulk buying as an insult when it isn't. Like someone said they act like its one person buying hundreds of copies for themselves. Its an organized effort with many people involved to reduce shipment cost. If you want to but more than one version of an album thats fine its still more albums being sold and its their money
