Old SM: Suju SNSD EXO New SM: SHINee f(x) Red Velvet You could even include the soloists from each group and it would still match up. With 'old SM', I think these are the group's that stick to the classic SM style/formula and play it relatively safe when it comes to title tracks. 'New SM' are the more experimental groups with more daring styles and title tracks. It's pretty cool that SM has a pretty even balance right about now.
