Zayn Malik cancels Capital FM Summertime Ball performance due to extreme anxiety

Anyone who knows Zayn, knows how shy and introverted he is. He hates doing interviews or being in super crowded places.

He went on with it when he was in One Direction cause he had to, of course. Plus he had teammates to fill up the space, while he barely talked or did anything.

He's been canceling appearances for ages now, since he went solo. Not surprising.

i hate that people have this idea that people with anxiety can't do shit like be performers or something in the limelight due to it. it can cause setbacks not hinder our whole life.

i hope he's okay. i know first hand how that feels. i had to take a whole semester off from school two years ago cause mine was bad/ i could barely function for a few weeks. i hope he takes care of himself and when he's ready he performs in front of his fans again.

Suffering from anxiety is really the worst. Personally i don't think i ever experienced anything scarier than anxiety. So i understand him very well, hope he gets some help.
