She can sing alright, but I thought her voice goes too nasally when she hits high notes. Of course she still has a long way to go to catch up with Luna Please answer truthfully. But I don't find her singing very pleasant outside of that, the way she sings outside fx is very plain (which is kinda more lack of confidence tho) and normally the genre doesn't work with her nasal tone. Krystal has never been lauded for her singing, she is more recognised as the face of f(x). She's pitchy and not more than average as a vocalist. You don't need to be a great vocalist to do well solo, look at Hyuna, Sunmi, etc. The most important things is getting a good song, and even if your song isn't public friendly having a good fanbase also works eg. Tiffany. Having said that I don't think Krystal would go solo, she's never expressed any desire to do so, but if she did, I'm confident she'd do at least as well as Tiffany.
