He has 3 exciting movies getting released, the roles are diverse,

 

In Edge of Innocence he is the sweet and romantic Kang Qiao that is willing to do anything for love.

 

 

 

In Jackie Chan's Rail Road Tigers He is the funny and cute Da Hai, a talkative young man with flirty eyes that likes to play with scissors!

 

 

 

 

 

 

And in Game changer he is a dangerous gang leader from the 1930's.

 

 

He received praise for his acting already !

This guy has done everything under the sun so far, proof that he can go solo just fine. On another note, his hair for Game Changer does not look like 1930s to me. The hairstylists need to switch it up.

lololol I can't stop laughing at this gif no matter how many times I watch it.

RRT is a comedy, one of the many reasons I'm looking forward to it since both EOI and Game Changer seem to be more dramatic and serious movies, so it'd be like a breath of fresh air. 
Tao makes good choices when it comes to the roles he wants to take on. His characters in these 3 movies + last year's My Sunshine are all different from each other, I'm glad he's not sticking with just one type of character. Only thing these 3 roles have in common is action scenes, which is obviously something Tao takes pride in, as he should.:3

Game Changer, a gangster movie . But then I also like mind game, mystery, romance thrillers so very interested in what EOI will bring, plus its the quickest so of course I'm excited for anything that'll slake my Actor Tao thirst. Then I've been excited for Railroad Tigers since last year, and its a Jackie Chan so it'll be fast witty irreverent action comedy with glimpses of heroism & heart, lol I sound like a blurb but Tao is doing so good with his choices

Yes! Me too! What makes me even more happy and eager is tha I genuinely want to watch these movies they are very good choices I would gave gone to see them even if I didn't know Tao.

 

Tao has good judgement for choosing movies,I'm happy that he's taking acting seriously even if music is his 1st love.

I love that none of his roles are similar, it's only the trailers and previews but his acting looks good, I always though Tao would make a great actor, because he has the looks, the great screen presence and charisma, and since he is sensitive, empathetic and expressive I thought he would be able to get in character very well, so far it looks like I'm right  (I remember on weibo he posted who is Tao once he was so in character for EOI  ) he looked amazing and did good in You are my sunshine, he looks even better now in the EOI and RRT trailers. All his movies look good, it's the type of movie that I like. So proud of him!

 

Only a month left until EOI, I can't wait !
