Omg Hui was feeling himself so much...I didnt notice until green concert how good his presence is but its good. Idk but I dont expect to see main vocal that happy performing sometimes...see that more in the main dancer but I really see it in Hui. I love the song Jinho chose, but I prefer Hui performance, they both sounded good. I love how most of them well dressed or wearing sweaters like HS or Dawn, then you have Jinho wearing that army shirt he always wears.

Sorry then Nothing Like Us...is Yan An a Belieber or what...His voice colour so special, and ballad sound nice...I already see at PTG concert he could have ballad solo stage or stage with few other vocal of a ballad. And HS sound good as well ofc.

no matter if everyone hates it I still like Dawn's tone & rapping...his style of rap really my style...it's just like lax and all that. but WS performance he really pulls it off..I'd say deserving to win

Shinwon performance <3 The fact that it's song by him and Hui makes it even better to me. I like Changgu performance to a lot but I dont know how to say...SW performance just feels more "full" to me, more climatic and interesting that Changgu song/performance

Yuto surprise me seriously I was not expecting that dance break part and the beginning of it made me laugh. Based on his smile he was feeling himself to...but really didn't expect him to dance like that based on See You Again & ORD was so dance lacking. Ofc I expect dance from Kino but...didn'texpect that omg...I really loved it. Plus he looks so handsome with that wet hair. I can't fight it anymore that 2gu is my destined bias

Edawn's song was a self-written song and I think Hui is the one singing in this song^^

I really liked it. I think his voice is what makes him stand out more so he should be proud of it :)

The second part of Kino's performance was simply amazing :) I love him so much <3

Hui vs. Jinho: I agree with a previous commenter that these songs were a bit high for them. I'd guess that in rehearsals those notes were probably easier to place because they weren't moving around as much or as nervous. I feel like Hui won this one through sheer stage presence. It's hard to deny for me. At this point he seems to be the most confident performer besides Kino. Also, I've written about this before but I probably give Hui more credit than most because it takes more effort to get a heavy voice that high up. I tend to be more impressed by Hui hitting high notes because physiologically they should be easier for Jinho than for him just by nature.

Yan An vs. Hongseok: I liked both. I was pleasantly surprised at how connected Hongseok's range is but ultimately I felt like Yan An told a better story as a performance and the consistency of his tone throughout his different registers and the smoothness of it all was slightly superior this time. I think what throws people off about Yan An is the aggressiveness of his consonants (especially S's) and the somewhat "shallowness" of his tone both are things that would be fixed by him opening up more. I hope that's something they're focusing on in his training.

E'Dawn vs. Wooseok: This one was difficult for me to call. Rap isn't necessarily my expertise but I also felt like this performance was a bit like comparing apples and oranges. E'Dawn's performance came off a bit more polished to me but Wooseok's stage presence and charm were better imo. Relative toss up. I was very impressed by Wooseok's interactions with the audience though. Lot of potential there.

Yeo One vs. Shinwon: From what I understand Shinwon sang an original song and that's very impressive because song writing is far from easy and I enjoyed the dynamics but I'll be blunt, it bothered me a lot that Shinwon was consistently flat in this particular performance. I'm legitimately surprised that others didn't seem to notice this. Yes the others had pitch issues as well (even Jinho and Hui) but none were consistently off pitch like Shinwon was. He conveyed emotion but for me this is a glaring issue from a technical standpoint. It was distracting. Yeo One got a lot of help from reverb and compression and I'd hardly characterize his performance as perfect but, bluntly, he sang better. His range was connected and while not as supported or resonant as it could be, he showed a lot of promise and better technical skill. I voted for him.

Yuto vs. Kino: Yuto impressed me, he came off as a lot more confident than I expected and even though he said he would, I was still surprised that he chose to dance in a battle against Kino. I was impressed. However, I felt like KIno beat him on two fronts: He danced better and still managed to do reasonably well in his musical performance whereas I felt Yuto sacrificed the latter for the former. KIno's stage presence is top notch and, imo, it's nearly professional level. While I think Yuto will continue to surprise us all in the future, I felt like Kino clearly won.

My fave perf so far is Hui's, he was so energetic!

Yeo One definitely sang better, but performance-wise, Shinwon had the advantage of singing an original song (by Hui btw, lyrics written by Shinwon) and playing piano. Also, the lyrics were about an unrequited love of his (if I'm not wrong), it must have played a bit in his favour.

I understand why he won, though I myself can't choose between them two. I really like Yeo One's vocals, yet I have a thing for piano-driven songs.

I get it. For me personally it's just hard to overlook that level of flatness regardless of who wrote the song. Any of the singers I've worked with would have been fired if they were off pitch that consistently lol. (which is NOT to say that Shinwon should be, I'm just bantering.)

EDIT: I am starting to see his charm though. I like his hair like that.
