What do you think of Mukbang videos?

I don't know if they are still popular, but they were couple of years ago. What do you think of Mukbang Videos? Do you think people who make those videos deserve to be popular?

I've never actually watched one all the way through, but I'm sort of jealous that some of  these people can eat like two trays of lasagna five cheeseburgers three bowls of ramen and an entire chocolate cake in one sitting and still be skinnier than me.

I can understand those who watch them on YT but I can't understand those who pay to watch them on AfreecaTV. I remember someone saying he earned like 8K a month just by doing meokbang...

If anyone knows the secret to stay skinny as hell even after eating 10 servings of meat please quote me.

I like them if they aren't annoying. It really depends because sometimes I can get really bored. Many of American youtuber mukbangs are really annoying and boring to watch.

If im not mistaken is bc of korean ppl likes to eat tgt but these day everyone is busy etc so they eat alone, with mukbang, they can eat tgt.

they seem fun (I've watched some clips) but I think that most are in korean so I'm not interested in watching them (if I'm going to watch something for a full hour, it has to have subs or be in english)

I just got into it recently and it's not entirely for the food, but also for the commentaries. My favorite mukbang videos right now are mommytang's, and I only discovered her like a week ago; she's hilarious.
