In the second round, his solo rap lyrics were pretty inspirational, daring the judges to look at him with different eyes and not just look at him as an idol. But he was almost booted out for being too noisy wth? Then in Cypher he stepped up and took the mic FIRST! And now this, a memorable stage with the legend himself, Flowsik. All throughout the stages, he did not mess up one single bit too. I mean it was pretty brave or stupid of him to choose Flowsik for the 1v1 battle, knowing the judges were pretty much riled up for a Flowsik show, but SY knew he had to do this just to get the respect he deserved. In the end, whether it was a ballsy or a stupid move, Cho Seungyoun left SMTM5 with a bang! He was able to redeem himself, got praised, raised a few eyebrows, and most of all he got to share a f*ckn epic stage with Flowsik! I'm glad he joined SMTM5, now people will finally be aware of his existence He's just a 96 liner yet look at him being all confident when rapping. Just because he's an idol doesn't mean he isn't a real rapper (I saw such comment on Youtube smh), this guy has a passion just like all the other contestants there. I don't even know this kid but he did better than flowskik. It's annoying when they are overly critical of one rapper or give some bs for eliminating them but then give their buddies a pass just based on their name value.
