it seems knetz don't really like baekhyun's acting, and on naver tv the first comment on the fight scene (?) and the most upvoted is talking about his acting

 

 

 

Well, I'm not surprised. Knetz usually don't like idols acting like actors and they use every opportunity to bash them. I understand a bit where all of this is coming from, but still their comments re exaggerated. I didn't find Baekhyun (or IU) 'cringy' or 'annoying' It's quite the opposite, actually - I found his character refreshing and sweet - his expressions, communications with other characters, voice control were good, not great, but it wasn't bad. The 'fight scene' was supposed to be a bit wierd and strange so I don't blame them for over-reacting. But I guess eveyone has their own opinion on this matter so...I'll keep watching and maybe later people will notice the amount of effort Baek put into his acting   I think he did well

 

 

I just watched it and...I liked it so much   My definition of "Cringe" is totally opposite of knetz, I guess? I haven't cringed even once?  lmao their acting is in the same level as some of their beloved "real actors and actresses" out there 

 

I also didn't find any 'cringe-ble' moments. Sometimes zooming was too hard as some people smartly noticed - IU's eyes were so big I thought they are gonna pop out  But oveall it was good. I laughed and smiled every time I saw Baek on screen - he was pretty descent IMO   Especially if we remember that it's almost his first time acting in the real drama with mature actors - ther'es a cirtain pressure in it

I read the knetz comments and tbh I don't know what to expect, I just know that I can't wait to watch it and I'm proud of him anyway :")

 

OMG I love this video    The look in his eyes is so open and sincere and loving - I can't even express how much it contains in itself 

 

I'm very proud of him! Acting isn't as easy as it may sounds, it's a hard work and I apreciate Baekhyun's efforts to do his best 

Knetz in my experience are always bitter about idols acting on the same level as professional celebrities - they say idols just can't act and everything they do seem awkward. But how do you supposed to learn the real acting if you don't participate in dramas with real actors and learn from their experience? No one is born an actor, he needs to become one. 

 

Overall I think this was just the first reaction - it's only two episodes really (and there's a 18 more   )

I'll wait for at least 10 episodes before making some statements. Hopefully, knetz will reconsider their opinion or, if not, well, it's their right to stay crytical

We just continue to enjoy the series

I don't know how someone say Baek can't act. His expression in this scene really affected me, that mix of confusion, pain and anger was expressed very well   I believed him

 

And that scene in the episode three when his father shames him in front of his brothers broke my heart a little... His face were just

I just finished watching episode 3. I love this drama! Baekhyun is adorable, the way he moves only is super cute.

It seems there was another article about his acting, and judging by baek k-fans on my tlist the comments weren't good, we should wait for another post by nb/fpkf etc

 

i said i wasnt going to bother anymore with negative comments, but those ppl usually don't even bash the acting, but the person instead and i get mad about it

 

This is the worst part of it! I would completely understand if people were discussing his acting and criticising him in rational and constructive manner: he's still an amateur, too much over-reacting sometimes, his way of speaking needs to be worked on, too modern etc. because some viewers might find this qualities as weak spots in this drama. In this case I can't really be hurt at them, everyone has his own opinion after all 

 

But when they starting to write things completely irrelevant to his acting abilities - he's short, ugly, lacking visuals, has no talent and I'm just: WTF people! How these things are even remotely close to his role as an actor? When someone moves from discussing inner skills to someones physical appearence - it's a sign for me that this person is rotten to the core 

 

That's why I don't even bother to percieve that negativity - I don't want to lower myself to the level of these people filled with hate and bitterness
