for 3 albums, he cornered himself in a niche type of RnB when he can do so much better. i feel disappointed when i listen to his collabs Hurt and Monroe, his voice sounded so good in them, he could of explored those genres further with an album but he didn't, and i don't understand why. from his interviews he doesn't sound obsessed with RnB at all, in fact he often mentions so many genres he wants to explore. i thought it could be SM's strategy for better sales, but even then RnB isn't popular in Korea at all. i hope he tries rock and jazz when he comes back.
