t'ain't the same without Toho... I'll still be out here gunning for Ayusus though

I wonder when Avex will use the holographic concert they recorded of TVXQ before they enlisted. I would have thought they would have had a teaser or a song shown at a-nation using the technology.

I think it's funny that SKE48 is the best selling act that's participating in the 8/28 show, and yet they are still probably the least relevant act in the lineup. Well none of the acts are actually relevant nowadays anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Their one album only 150k though?

I won't go since iKON will be there. Didn't know rookies can be there. Even if NCT be there, i won't come. Stop bringing them rookies.

Their speech will "We hope we can be better than Bigbang soon", i better save my anger and not come.

that would be pretty cool, but they already had the T1ST0RY special hologram concert at SM and it was nothing to do with the Avex side really... is that what you're thinking of? or am I mad outta the loop

To be fair they had a single released on the exact same day.

But either way, that's still more than any of the other acts performing in the show have had in years.

Ayumi Hamasaki has sold just shy of 60 million records.

No, this is a especially shot Japanese language one.

Can someone explain to me what happened to the Jpop industry since the giants of the early 00s? How did we get down this path? This is a legitimate question because I used to be into Jpop but fell out bc it was too hard to find things. I'm just now trying to get back in and I feel like Rip Van Winkle....everything's changed and I don't understand how we got to this point.

You're moving to Japan too? I'm going next month for 2 weeks then moving in September on a working holiday..
