What kind of gift would you buy your oppars/unnirs???

If you were inclined to spend money on them beyond music/concerts/merch. XD  Just physical gifts here; donate to charity in their name all you want, but I want to know what physical object you would actually gift them with?  Pretend money were no object if you're totally impoverished and want to play the game.

Personally, I'd prefer to give them something non-generic.  Apple tech and products from certain designers would be right out; they already know about such things and can easily get them for themselves (or be given them 20 times over by other fans).  I'd want to give them something I thought were neat, that they might like, and that they probably haven't discovered for themselves yet.  This could be a designer bag (there's a swiss brand I like; it's designer, obv, but not the type of thing that would get knocked off/not popular enough to be knocked off), or it could be a book that I think they might enjoy (... if they were able to read english, or if a korean translation were available?), or a cd (or maybe a mix-cd?  Or all the CDs that contribute to the mixtape?  Maybe they wouldn't want a pile of physical albums though (oppa may still live in dorms or something!)  Though I guess in that case one could just tweet them a list of recommendations instead?)

I'm not crafty, so they wouldn't get anything hand-made from me.  The closest would be cooking, but I think many companies wouldn't necessarily let home-made food get by in case of... incidents.  But packaged food might be ok, in which case there's a cheesecake I had at a certain restaurant that I really liked, so I might order one and have them post it to Korea. XD  (Thinking of Daehyun in this case. XD;; )

Also, if I got them a bag, I wouldn't have it monogrammed with their name or anything.  I mean, if they wound up not liking it, I wouldn't want to make it hard for them to regift it.  Stockpiling things they don't like just because they can't get rid of them would be a waste!

If I can find a small cute detail I can attach to a home-made present or a meaningful fan-letter then I would buy it..

I wouldn't go too wild, just in case they don't receive it...

I would mostly rather make something myself...

I've bought Kyung a few things in the past, but I feel like he likes hats, sweaters, and things with him on it (lol conceited little shit). I thought about packing a handmade stuffed animal of him or something in the Christmas package that I'm sending. We'll see. I'm not incredibly crafty.

I'll record myself singing their songs and send it to them

just kidding... I don't want to make them all go deaf  :._.:  I'll send them.... uhm...... food! yes food! girls love food, don't they?

They might appreciate it!  :ahmagah:

What kind of food?  Something local to you?  Homemade? :9

I think everyone has the right to answer...lol

The answer doesn't contribute to the thread, though.

I'm sorry then? I just spoke my mind.

Yes yes, you just couldn't help it.

... I would like to see a fansign attendee re-gift her oppars with the 100s of albums she bought in order to get in to see them. >.>  It will be proof that she didn't resell them and a sign of her devotion!!!!

That's awesome. Did he ever write back or post a selca with your gifts?

He didn't, but it's okay. He doesn't really post a lot of stuff these days because he's felt a little down. I'm looking forward to it in the future though.
