What is "disappointment" for you?

Recommended Posts

Do you have a lot of expectations about something and that makes you feel disappointed many times if they don't satisfy your desires? Or are you the kind of people who don't have expectations at all?

For example, are you from the people who watch Enter The Dragon expecting the plot of a Lars Von Trier in a martial arts flick or you simply go to watch Enter The Dragon without any expectation and you end up being satisfied?

I usually have expectations but not too high

especially if my AKB oshi doesn't rank as high as I expected

lol jk

The little things like missing the beginning of my favourite tv show, or realising there is no peanut butter left, or coming to an end of a really good book. It's little things like that which I would call disappointment - things which will make me go "oh" but then are quickly forgotten.

Anything more upsetting than these little things, like getting a bad grade, I would say I'm more than a little disappointed.

I usually have big expectations no matter how much I try not to.

But disappointment for me isn't when people don't meet my expectation but more when I can't meet theirs.  :._.:

Disappointment for me is not getting what I want after doing almost everything to get it. Sometime being a goody-two shoe has it cons too.  :._.:

  • 3 weeks later...

I have high expectations on myself and my team in League of Legends to do well!!! but even though we're getting stomped in a game I expect everybody to be working at full force instead of being a quitter, crying over the game or blaming others!

well I have other expectations.

E.g 1) for people to be polite and have manners And

2) another example at school/university, I don't mind if fellow students/colleges ask for help but just don't go over board and put others in risk by constantly asking for helping during test/assessment task, it's selfish to do so. I would not put down anybody for asking any question that I can help them with no matter how stupid "they" think it is but I'd feel uncomfortable doing that in test conditions.
3) Lastly, another example from a game that I'm full on addicted to..... you've guess it! LEAGUE OF LEGENDS! I expect to win every single game no matter what, thanks for reading! teehee ^^

When I don't get expected marks during an exam. Or someone stoops lower than I can fathom.

When download stops at 99% and fails 62.png
