They deliver. Kind of wished they didn't interpolate scenes from the series in the music video, though. Their wardrobe and style are on point.

Seungri is the reason why I started watching it tbh, and I love the series!!! The songs are amazing and I'm getting familiar with so many faces in JPop.  I'm so hyped for the movie too!! 

 

I feel like people would be more into Jpop if it was more accessible like Kpop.  I read somewhere (AsianJunkie, I think) that the Japanese government passed some law that made it harder for Jpop groups to promote online, or something like that, which is a pity.  Jpop has some great bands and songs.

 

Question: Where can I get the full versions of these songs?  I can't find them on Youtube or the ones I find are like a minute long.

Hopefully somebody will share the Jpopsuki video when it is broadcasted on TV!

I  kinda am!  I used to be into anime back in the day and I used to listen to the opening/ending songs of all the anime I used to watch.  I remember m-flo, Ali's Project, Yui, akeboshi, and FLOW off the top of my head (along with some vocaloids), but I ended up forgetting about them once I got into Kpop.  It was easier getting the full version of those songs, since people post them all on Youtube.  I watch the occaisonal Jpop video that's posted on AsianJunkie, where I found FEMM and CREAM.  Other than that I know Perfume (Seungri interviewed them), AKB48 (they're like the SNSD of Japan, right?), and BabyMetal (who doesn't??).  I listen to Daesung's (D-LITE) Japanese songs, but I don't know if that counts, lol.

 

It's kinda frustrating when they post like half the song/MV.  Like why not the entire thing??  That whole going the extra mile to find Jpop is what I mean by it being less accessible.  But I'll definitely check out Jpopsuki!! I've never heard of the site tbh.

The album with all the songs won't be out until the 14th, and the full length music videos will probably be out the same day. Music videos in Japan tend to get posted earlier than single/album releases. The short video thing is new for LDH, though. They usually post full/almost full videos.

It's my pleasure!  I've always liked Japanese animes/dramas, so I'm having a lot of fun watching the drama myself.  Do visit us at the BIGBANG thread, we don't bite unless you decide to troll XD. I've been watching some of Seungri's Japanese videos and I feel like he does well there!  He gets treated better in Japan than in Korea, that's for sure. 

 

Thanks!  I always considered myself lucky when it comes to discovering music.  I know they're different that SNSD, like having much, much more members and the graduation system, but I meant in relevancy in the country. After School is closer to AKB48 in terms of group structure.  BabyMetal are legends.  I'm pretty sure they can achieve world peace tbh.  I was shocked to learn that two of them are younger than I am.  i was like . 

 

hmmm.  I wish they didn't.  Lol, and is the captain satisfied the voyage and booty earned?  Does the captain enjoy sailing the high seas in search of the booty that is Jpop?
