SM Entertainment has a 'K-Pop International School' in the works, the opening date for which is set tentatively for early next year in Seoul's Gangnam District. This special school is being planned by SM Entertainment in conjunction with Jongro Academy, and will house around 300~400 students.

It'd be like fanwars in live action LMAO

If I had more talents, I would but unfortunately, I'm not.

Isn't it just like a regular school.. it just has music/dance lessons as an additional trait + kpoper house LMAO

what does that school even do lol

The formation of this school is an alternative type of school that will teach foreign students and aspiring celebrities subjects such as the Korean language, Math, and English, along with applied music and dance.

if they are gonna give me PS for free, sure

Huh? why you need PS for tho

See this:

70% of the matriculated students will be exchange students from foreign countries such as China, and 30% will be aspiring Hallyu star hopefuls within Korea.

:imstupid: It's like SM's giving them hope on purpose to get more students lmao

I think the 30% would be Koreans trying to become Hallyu stars not ifans

It is a smart idea.

People would pay to get trained and if any is good.. SM could recruit them.

Usually SM has to offer all the training and invest in trainees. Like this.. they would be paid to prepare people.

Less money spent.. more income for SM plus a pool of people to pick from.

It could actually become a trendy school.

Unfortunately i even graduated college so no way I am going back to school, SK or not.

Edit... btw.... if people graduate from this school... will their diplomas be accepted as if it were from any other school? Cause if the graduation isn't valid when compared to other schools.. i find it pointless to attend.

I agree 100%. If the students will receive approved diplomas/valid diplomas, then this is not a bad idea at all.

SM can choose a student they like/have potential to become an idol. Like, no need to scout, and pay full time.

And they'll find more talents, like a translator, model, etc.
