Hi guys, I was curious if Ela8te was going through badge voting season as well? I didn't see a thread for them and they aren't under RaNia anymore, of course~ 

Idk...nobody as far as I am aware has started a thread for them. I would love for them to have badges but ops for awards/badges are too much for me. If anyone is willing to make a thread for them I can do mocks tho.

Ah, I see~ I'd love to see what kind of cute badges they'd get, 'specially Di, seeing as they're rather dated and they had so many cute pics during DEMONSTRATE~

Okay guys here's what one of the mods told me:
 

First of all you need to have the approval of the badge holders to change the badges. If you have consulted the holders, you need to ask for a new OP approval in this thread to make a separate voting thread for them since they are a group it would be the easiest to do it in one thread. Since their new group still doesn't have a badge I would say it would be ok to do the voting in PM with an Awards Team member too. In any case you need to make a new thread or a PM. You can also still do the voting in existing Rania- thread.

To make it official I'm gonna need supporters to back me up so I can be OP for the Ela8te badges. I need five. Should I post this in the Rania thread too?

Definitely not a cute concept because of Di age :v . Maybe adding 5 members (Ela8te). Actually i want a 4-5 members group. A song like abracadabra can make them relevant just like BEGs.

Agreed! Trios aren't really popular. 4-5 members would be just great!

Yeah the three-member theory seems to be right. I mean, look at Purfles. Bop after bop after bop but no dramatic popularity increase.

 

However, DTX already has a fanbase and several years under their belt. And if promoted right, all three members have something Korean fans want. In Korea, it seems Di is/would be the most popular followed by Taeeun and Jinyoung

Yup trios are mostly good for subunits if anything.

Since they already have a fanbase all we need is a good song+promo and we're good.

I don't wanna upset RaNia fans but I would love for EnterHama to continue the same style for Ela8te. I just can't see Ela8te doing cute concepts nor doing overly sexy concepts. Just badass sexy concepts. 

I'm with you on this. The badass sexy concept is made for them tbh! 

I wouldn't be able to see them do any other one...especially a cute concept.

Hmmm....so nothing has really happened yet... Not overly surprised though. Hoping they start doing something soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if their company is delaying any activities until they recruit more members. Hope that they'll make their Korean debut at least by the beginning of next year.

 

 

You know, one of the reasons Ela8te may have not debuted yet is due to their contracts with DR. Maybe they had a clause where they couldn't perform for a certain period. After all, DR did say they were in some "legal issues" and I guess part of the resolution was that they would let go of DTX from their contracts, but they couldn't appear/perform anywhere for a couple of months.

 

Both of these reasons sound reasonable. I just didn't like the fact that they suddenly pulled the plug on their show. Like all they said is that they would work on that asap but here we are. Imma let them off the hook for now since they' haven't debuted yet. I really hope Ela8te get's their chance to make it and that additional member are added to the group. Even if its just one (although ideally I think 2 would be better but that just my opinion.)

That's a fan twitter for Ela8te, its not official.

Ela8te themselves do update from time to time but in this case we were talking about EH closing down their YT channel and what can that possibly mean for Ela8te.
