However, he wasn't regarded as heroic as the Chinese Classic Romance of The Three Kingdoms because his behavior towards people around him wasn't really ethical to many people. In summary, it's a power struggle between three of the best warlords for the control of China during that era and a record of how they play out politics and war against one another. It's like a Chinese version of Game of Thrones with bigger battles across many more cities and more complex use of stratagems and trickery without the magic and the dragons.
