I would absolutely love to hear Blinket's reasons but some simple ones of mine (because I feel the same way) is: - I think it's less that JongKey stopped existing so much as fans stopped being interested in it and promoting it like they used to. I can show you plenty of JongKey moments from pretty much anything they've done lately. - The thing before was that Jonghyun used to be SO OPEN about his feelings for Key but remember when he supported that gay rights tweet on twitter and people wanted to THROW HIM OUT of SHINee? How can you expect him to keep talking like that especially if it might hurt him and Key? Also, he recently posted saying he wished people would be more understanding and wished he could be honest. I personally think that might be related. - a relationship doesn't have to happen in front of the public's eyes to be real. - a ship can exist as long as there are fans who love it. It also includes fans who just like watching their interactions as friends not only as a couple and now...some JongKey to update this thread "Kibum’s outfit was really cute which is why I wore black." - Jonghyun ( ) So... I'm really thankful for this video because it bothers me more than it should when people say this ship is dead. There are so many glorious JongKey moments. It has never stopped. I don't know even if I care to ship them romantically or not but these two together is beautiful to me. It is obvious they have a close relationship with each other and that makes me so incredibly happy since I consider them as the two of the most wonderful idols in kpop. (Tbh, Jonghyun and Key have said more sappy things to each other that makes our shipper heart flutter.) so true. ZombehPanda 2,021 Posted March 14, 2017 Share Posted March 14, 2017 I was really happy to see this thread is still alive. I've gone through several 'phases' since I got into kpop 4 years ago. To this day, JongKey is the only ship I really think is a real romantic ship. For the most part these boys are pretty lowkey which is more realistic imo. My feelings also come from the fact that I now live in Korea and see how boys treat their friends and also how my closeted students act as well. I could be wrong.
