I don't get why you are saying JongKey is dead. JongKey still exists.

 

I would absolutely love to hear Blinket's reasons but some simple ones of mine (because I feel the same way) is:

 

- I think it's less that JongKey stopped existing so much as fans stopped being interested in it and promoting it like they used to. I can show you plenty of JongKey moments from pretty much anything they've done lately.

 

- The thing before was that Jonghyun used to be SO OPEN about his feelings for Key but remember when he supported that gay rights tweet on twitter and people wanted to THROW HIM OUT of SHINee? How can you expect him to keep talking like that especially if it might hurt him and Key? Also, he recently posted saying he wished people would be more understanding and wished he could be honest. I personally think that might be related.

 

- a relationship doesn't have to happen in front of the public's eyes to be real.

 

- a ship can exist as long as there are fans who love it. It also includes fans who just like watching their interactions as friends not only as a couple
