Article: "The Japanese imperial flag on their chest..." Hyunseung and Hyuna's couple hoodies controversy

1. [+2,228, -90] Aigo... Please use your brains...

2. [+1,743, -52] It's certainly weird that people seem to be looking everywhere for this particular flag but Japan really needs to get rid of it and recognize it as a criminal flag.

3. [+1,582, -196] Honestly, they just seem to be begging for attention since they're not talented enough to get any type of attention on their own;; ã…‹ They even did weird stuff over at the MAMA... tsk tsk. Stop coming out.

4. [+80, -4] The fact that people are even trying to defend them saying they can wear what they want is the reason they're getting hate. They're desensitizing people to the criminal flag. Why do you think Europeans think of it as a crime to use the Nazi symbol or even mention it? The symbol alone holds immense power!

5. [+77, -7] It's probably easier for them to strip if they're looking for attention

Article: Troublemaker apologizes to the rising sun flag controversy "Sorry for not taking caution"

Source: Mydaily via Naver

1. [+1,635, -51] Do the coordis not have eyes? Why are they always dressing stars up in clothes with this flag on it??

2. [+1,462, -76] Like their name states, they are indeed troublemakers ^^

3. [+1,195, -46] Yeah, you guys really didn't take caution

4. [+210, -12] So stop accepting anything and everything just because it's sponsored

5. [+167, -15] Such a fitting team name for them

1. [+363, -25] In Europe, you get hated on just for using anything similar to the Nazi symbol and people apologize immediately... seems like our country and even the rest of Asia don't care.

2. [+319, -27] I saw their fans running around shielding them saying that the drawing is a work of art ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ and that it represents peace or whatever ã…‹ã…‹ You really think Hyunseung thought about all that when he wore it? Stop with the shields, I'm getting tired of it

3. [+143, -18] Are they really calling that a clarification?

4. [+25, -12] What's it matter if the center is a flower bud? The way the stripes spread out just screams the imperial flag.

5. [+15, -11] Even an elementary school student can tell that the stripes spread out like the imperial flag. You'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise...

I mean I doubt Hyunseung put it on and thought FUCK YEAH I HATE KOREA..

but yeah jeez the coordinaters/stylists should know better.. sucks that the symbol is so prominent in so many designers' works :/

I feel bad for them haha I honestly don't think they meant anything malicious but I can see why netizens are upset

I would side-eyed anyone that wears clothing with the Nazi symbol so I understand where the netizens are coming from. But I don't think neither of them had any bad intentions when they decided to put on the hoodies.

I understand why the knetz are mad but seriously to go as low as saying TM should just strip naked or they have no talent?  It's not like TM was proudly and knowingly waltzing down the street with it on and encouraging others to do the same.

TM should have known better, they are Koreans themselves but the stylist/coordinator is also to blame.

Would you side-eye them if they wore a shirt with Buddha and the swastika on him?

All those who are talking about the Nazi symbol need to know that the swastika represents auspicious things in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. My family draws the symbol every year in our house. Doesn't mean I support Nazism.

And that design doesn't even look like the Japanese imperial flag unless you deliberately try to match the two.
