TVXQ's 10th Anniversary 26th Dec 2013!

 

 

 

**10th Anniversary Contest CLOSED**

 

 

 

Greetings fellow forum members. Since it's TVXQ's 10th Anniversary in 15 days, we want to have a little bit of fun leading towards the 26th Dec. There will be a contest to be conducted in 10th Anniversary Thread.

Rules:

 

1) Theme of Essay: WE LOVE YOU TVXQ!

2) The length of the essay must not be less 200 words

3) You can write down your essay in poetry, graphics, video, or just plain text

4) Each contestant should use ANY one of the 10th anniversary signatures and must have the TVXQ badge displayed right after you post your essay till the winner is announced.

5) The essay must be posted in the 10th anniversary thread with the heading  :

5) Contest date is from 12th - 26th of Dec KST

6) Winners will be announced in this thread.

The essays will be judged based on the criteria below with points awarded:

Come 26th Dec 2013, TVXQ/DBSK will be celebrating their 10th anniversary.

It has been a path inundated with many trials & tribulations BUT ultimately, the grand day beckons! What started as a group consisting of 5 members, it is now helmed by Yunho & Changmin when 3 members decided to leave the company that established their namesake.

 

For this month long countdown, we are here to celebrate the momentous occasion with Yunho & Changmin & hope that everyone will join in our celebration of this iconic group who has graced the Korean/international music scene for a decade.

 

We want to congratulate TVXQ/DBSK on their 10th year & wish them another 10 fruitful years to come..

Yunho: â€œWhen we decided to use the name of TVXQ to sing, our hearts were very confused. On the first day at Seoul, when we stood onstage, a tremendous amount of applause and cheering welcomed us, which made me deeply understand that â€˜there are people who are waiting for us. I can only continue living when I stand onstage.’ These thoughts started spurting out at that moment, and I knew that I could stand up again.â€

Changmin: â€œI was really really happy. But, when the time for us to perform came nearer, I started getting more and more nervous to the point where people around me could easily tell. Subconsciously, I started drinking coffee (laughs). This was the first time in my life that I felt so nervous. The staff must’ve been thinking, ‘are these two going to be okay?’ Compared to the external surroundings, I was mainly having an internal battle of pressure. When Yunho and I silently looked each other in the eyes, we nodded simultaneously to express ‘let’s go!’ To this day, it is still deeply engraved in my mind.â€

 

Yunho: â€œWe need to climb mountains but also descend them. Once we reach the pinnacle of one mountain, we realize there are even higher ones to mount. For that reason, we need to go down to the bottom and climb up to the top again. That day, when the two of us stood on the SM TOWN stage, we found the mountain that we needed to climb. Even if it’s one step by one step, we need to steadily move towards the future.â€

Overcoming the stormy sea together, there are still many hindrances to triumph over. Yunho and Changmin,

2011, the rebirth of the new “TVXQâ€.

i've been thinking of their anniversary so much the past week (listening to their songs non-stop lately)

i'm so excited for this  :stare: and something tells me i'm definitely gonna tear up on the day of :cry:

we’ve worked together for over ten years. rivers and mountains change in ten years. Changmin has always been by my side though the happy times and sad times. it just tell you that we’ve been together for a long time. it makes me feel confident, having him next to me, and together, we’ll create new history. he’s my support who I can count on, and also my colleague. I have no fear thanks to him and feel like we can do anything. - Yunho.
