It's not really superficial but just how we are as human beings imo. It's not to say they need to be a 10/10 or that appearance is everything but it does play a role. However, I simply can't date someone I don't feel attracted to even if they have a good personality. I've had plenty of male friends whom we've gotten along super well because of this.
