Official MIRAE (미래소년) Thread #DSPNBG

I think if DSP is planning to give the fans what we want, it's still possible to debut the Chaekyung group at the end of this year, then the new boy group next year.

Especially since at this rate, Ho Cheol & Young Doo are likely to be among the winners? Then they'd have to "perform live shows every day for one year"  and even after that they might be selected for Mnet's project group.

Although if this is the plan, i suspect those rumours might be true and DSP might be quietly getting rid of their older boys...

that sounds like a good plan :)

hopefully DSP is smart enough to plan something like this lol

if DSP get rid of their older trainees for nothing... it'd be really sad... hopefully DSP has better plans for them tho

is really Chae Ho Cheol a DSP Trainee? beacuse i read on twitter he is going to debut in a group called A.DE

Another DSP Trainee?

https://twitter.com/BOYS24_GLOBAL/status/738547307159789570

we can't be sure if he's still a DSP trainee or not.

but he passed the first audition for DSP Media back in 2015.

it was confirmed by his former training academy.

group A.DE?

that's a girl group that just debuted this year

there are few rumored DSP trainees actually.. but nothing is confirmed.

1. Ho Cheol

2. Young Doo

3. Go Jihyeong

4. Park Junseo

the one that is most likely to be a DSP trainee is Young Doo because Somin & Taebin (DSP artist/trainee) publicly showed their support to him. the rest are still rumors~

arent some of them are too old for debut age

yeah, kinda~

i just feel bad for the older trainees if they didn't get to debut.

anyways, if Taewook (91-liner) gets to debut, at least they shouldn't have to worry about taking a break for his military service since he already enlisted.

there are so many new boy groups that have really young kids debuting nowadays, so it's like a breath of fresh air to see a bunch of "older" members in a new debuting group. and it's a plus point if most of them have completed military service too.

Quoting from Soompi

"None of the contestants on the show are currently signed with an agency. Unlike in “Produce 101,†where the contestants are already trainees at other agencies, the contestants on BOYS24 are free agents. Thanks to this, all the members chosen at the end of a year will be signed under a division of CJ E&M in order to debut as a normal idol group."

I think Mnet learned a lesson from P101 about how troublesome it can be to deal with agencies, so they decided to eliminate the pain right at the outset for Boys24  :hurr:

My theory on this is that Mnet told the trainees that if they wanted to participate in Boys24, they had to leave their companies and become free agents. This way they would be free to sign with CJE&M if they eventually won. So those articles about various company trainees auditioning could still be correct as they were under them at the time.

I mean honestly, how did they find 49 free agent trainees without companies, much less the hundreds of boys who auditioned?  :derp:

mnet media-playing about having trainees from big agency :derp:

i was tricked demmit lol

anyway, it should be better this way.

i mean, who would stan a group for only a year (if they're chosen for top24) and not in the final line-up?

and then have to wait for a year(?) to debut in a "new" group under their respective company if they're not chosen.

i don't know if i can wait that long

well, so it seems i'm going to unfollow the boys24 thread lol!

All i want is that dsp debut Matthew, it's been years D:

lmao same

i'll just be waiting for DSP boyz to debut now~

at least there's a reason why the "well-known" DSP trainees aren't going to the show *cough*debut is near hopefully*

You know, I watched the Boys24 MV, and I was wow YoungDo's rap is so good..

too bad he isnt a DSP trainee anymore..  :._.:

because I can totally picture him, taehyung and matthew in one group.

he managed to get a rap part among 49 trainees... that's good~

and he can dance really well too...

hopefully he can "come back" to DSP again (if he's not chosen as final 7/24)

Finally a thread about those boys  :rlytearpls:  I was so absent from onehallyu that only discovered this thread now

I heard some rumors about the DSP (former?) trainees that went to BOYS24, I kinda believe on it since two of the eliminated ones came back to their original agency...

I think that the strategy of DSP at the moment for the trainees is promoting them on Male Produce 101 (or even in BOYS24 if their trainees come back later) to gain some popularity and attention from the public before debuting the actual boygroup, and it's a great move from DSP seeing that they are finally trying to consolidate their actual groups.

who are the trainees? i'm curious~

the most known 2 DSP trainees are Youngdoo & Hocheol. so far, they are still in the show...

but if those eliminated boys came back to DSP and is preparing for DSP next boy group, yassss i'm excited!

they can repeat the same success/recognition as Chaekyung/Shiyoon after Produce 101 ended

i can wait for a year for a new boy group if DSP decided to focus on their current artists right now.

A-JAX needs to come out of DSP dungeon. it's about time.

The confirmed ones who was in DSP is Go Jihyeong (Green unit), Chae Hocheol (Green unit) and Yoo Youngdoo (White Unit), so far, the other two eliminated boys (Park Junseo and one of the Jingyu's who was also in Green unit) is confirmed that both didn't signed with DSP even knowing that they were accepted into their auditions.

There's a 50% of chance that they'll come back to DSP when the 1-year period of promotions of BOYS24 ends, since the three are basically confirmed for the lineup. The eliminated boys was already signed and came back to their original groups/companies or got signed by x company.

If DSP is smart, i'm sure that they'll do everything to get those three boys back and promote them like they do with Chaekyung and Shiyoon.  :ahmagah:

But because of it, I believe that their next boygroup will debut only in the second semester of 2017.

Some of them are former trainees and ordinary boys, but the majority was already signed or in the music industry for a long time, but a lot didn't even mentioned the company that they were signed before the program in the actual program, but people still discovered it. LMAO

You're right! The most of the companies who sent their trainees did that, a lot of the eliminated boys are already back to their company and is training for probably Male Produce 101 or even their actual debut.

And: Sadly, Taebin left DSP. He's going to debut under ACEMAX BLACK, a group handle by FNC GTC and CM Entertainment.

thanks for the info~~

hopefully, the boys will come back to DSP again and debut in new DSP boy group soon.

but wait, Taebin already left???? noooooo~ :rlytearpls:

now idk who else is still in DSP anymore....

DSP BOYZ should debut soon before it is too late. Bald CEO we need you to make your decision asap.

the earliest for DSP BOYZ to debut is at the end of this year or early next year.

but i doubt it.

maybe after sending some of their trainees to male PD101 show, and debut them after the show ends?

if anything, they should at least give A-JAX a comeback first before debuting a new group.  :donthinkso:

It is!

They went to AHWF 2016 Seoul as special guests using the stage names BM and J.SEPH, and Matthew said that they were from DSP.

Fancam of both songs.

and after that I think that I found Taehyung's instagram account LOL

thanks for the clarification!

yeah, the MC said "new singer from DSP"

i guess there's still hope of Matthew and Taehyung debuting in new DSP boy group then (or maybe hip hop duo)? :)

as long as they're debuting~~~

Possibly?I've no idea.. But it seem we cant expect for it this year since even the winner group of Boys24 doesnt show up yet :(

i think if DSP want to wait for Boys24, they have to wait for at least a year... (if the members didn't get chosen in the final group)

maybe they're gonna wait after male PD101 show ends?

but that is still far away too~ sigh

can't DSP just debut whoever they are by early next year? :rlytearpls:

I don't know any DSP male trainee right now since both Matt and Taehyung are now in KARD and Taebin has debuted in a group called ACEMAX while Taewook has change to another companies.

Im not sure the current status of the 3 boys who are in Boys24 if they are still contracted with DSP after Boys24 finished its 1 year show.

I guess we have to wait for Produce101 season 2 to see if DSP sending any of the male trainees to the show since they are doing an open audition right now.

yeah~~~

i also don't know any of DSP trainees...

i don't know what should i update the OP lolz

yay, i'm excited to see DSP trainees on this show

and i wouldn't mind if they sent A-JAX members (especially Junghee) to participate on PD101

since he hasn't really "officially debut" in Korea yet, it'll be a great exposure for him to gain attention and public recognition for the group

oh? that boy in April Story? he's handsomely cute.

i wonder if he's an idol trainee or actor trainee..

with the success of Chaekyung & Shiyoon on PD101 before, i'm pretty sure DSP will send some of their trainees to go on this show again. and i kinda hope Junghee or A-JAX members on this show. but i doubt that. the boys are pretty much focusing in Japan right now.
